Ok after reading the premise it sounds very interesting, and also the Clovehitch Killer if it’s still available I might pick these up on EBay once they’re out of print most likely in June when the prices aren’t bad. Because I think the prices for these titles are going to go up like crazy months from now.

I watched this for a second time a few weeks ago, it is pretty good and loosely based on Dennis Rader aka BTK.

The Clovehitch Killer is amazing. Genuinely a great film that should be talked about way more often.

When I first noticed it in the Going OOP section it was already sold out. I got it slightly cheaper on eBay from blowitoutahere. That eBay store is currently having a 20% off of 3+ items sale, so in addition to Monster On the Campus I got Law and Order as well as Branded: The Complete Series (also going OOP). So my total order came out to $52.32!

Ok, just a tidbit, that might amount to nothing...

Night of the Creeps will be playing at Living Dead Weekend in the Monroeville Mall in a couple of weeks. This may not mean anything, but they played Night of the Living Dead 1990 a couple of years ago, around the time the 4K of that was hinted upon (yet still not out) and also an actress from the film confirmed she did extra feature interviews for a 4K.

If the film screening looks like a newer/better scan, that might confirm this.

Who knows, maybe Mifunefan will be announcing it in the next few days.

During a Shout! Factory sale late last year, one of the titles I decided to get directly from them was another film from the IFC Films side of things, The Axe Murders of Villisca (not watched it yet). I've probably read about The Clovehitch Killer on here before but it didn't stick in my mind (on seeing the various posts in this thread from the last few days, have checked out the Blu-ray.com review).

I checked out another Shout Blu-ray release a few months ago but decided to pass on that one (The Poughkeepsie Tapes).

Wondering whether there is much chance of a UK boutique label doing their own Blu-ray release of The Clovehitch Killer.

Anyone else still waiting on their order to be fulfilled? I placed mine on May 12th.

I know they're backed up, but 16 days without movement is...something. Hopefully they're able to get them all out this week as mentioned.

You picked the wrong title. Ax Murders of Villisca is about as vanilla as they come when it comes to IFC Titles. Very forgettable. Not bad per se, but nothing to really grasp onto. The Poughkeepie Tapes on the other hand is guaranteed to be remembered... positively or negatively. It has some of the most wooden/bizarre acting at times but is also quite disturbing and will linger with you one way or another. The ending in particular is great.

As far as Scream Factory IFC titles, the following all come recommended...

-Autopsy of Jane Doe
-The Babadook
-Baskin
-Bite
-A Dark Song
-Don't Knock Twice
-The Devil's Candy
-I Trapped the Devil
-The Midnight Man
-The Poughkeepsie Tapes

So here's another completely random thought that just popped into my head (when I should actually be sleeping by now):
Since Scream Factory has recently released both The Addams Family (2019) & The Addams Family 2 (2021) on 4K UHD, I can't help but wonder if they will continue releasing more "family friendly" horror films on this format throughout the near future.
I don't know if they currently have a licensing deal with Warner Bros. still or if they can negotiate a new one or not.
Regardless, if they're ever looking for more "family friendly" titles (especially ones that are arguably more "contemporary" rather than "classic"), I wonder if they would have any interest in releasing Scooby-Doo (2002) & Scooby-Doo 2 Monsters Unleashed (2004) on 4K UHD?
Yeah, they aren't necessarily great films but they do seem to have a sizable fanbase so I can image them selling decently enough.
I mean, personally I would rather see all of the "less-than-kid-friendly" titles within the Warner Bros. catalog receive proper 4K UHD releases first, such as Deep Blue Sea (1999) or Mars Attacks! (1996).
But hey, I'm just "planting some seeds" to see if anything eventually sprouts...

Went ahead and ordered The Clovehitch Killer from Amazon since its going OOP. They had 19 copies left when I ordered. It's an underrated gem.

I messaged Shout on my orders and well this is the message I get, and I am not happy. Considering they somehow still haven’t shipped my two orders, but they might be busy doing so many orders that I’m not surprised they’re taking so long on my orders.

My order from the 12th shipped yesterday.

Appears that Shout's fulfillment is getting caught up finally.

Lucky neither of my new orders have shipped one involving four going out of print titles, and the other order has Fear City and The Ambulance from Scream Factory. So I’m still waiting on both orders, and I hope these orders ship this week.

Y’all have to remember Shout is only in the office once or twice a week...and most of that time is spent in meetings deciding who to ban and measuring the length of scratches
