Dustin over at the Phantasm Community forums said that (quote) "SHOUT has contracted Red Shirt Pictures to make all new supplements - including something that ought to far outshine P2's segment in Phantasmagoria. (unquote)"
Also Cliff said that his favorite Phantasm moment was talking to Don Coscarelli on the phone one Friday ago. So there's that... ![]() |

Going off that ad, the suggested retail price for them will be the somewhat odd figure of $29.93. Most retailers will be able to buy them from the distributor at 40% off, so I would expect to be able to pick them up around $20 apiece eventually at Internet retailers.

In regards to your list, you can expect none of the Warner owned titles to ever get licensed to Shout (Freaks, Village of the Damned, The Haunting, etc.) and Kino will likely get around to Nosferatu and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari eventually.

I don't think that LionsGate does much licensing out either. Sony has current licensing deals with Twilight Time, Image, and Echo Bridge, so those titles would be more likely to come from there. Cursed and Creepshow 2 were very recently licensed to Echo Bridge and Image, so I doubt they will be parting with those anytime soon. There are rumors that Criterion is planning a blu-ray release for The Blob sometime in the near future. Hopefully this proves to be true. As for the public domain titles (Night Of The Living Dead, House On Haunted Hill, etc), most larger companies won't bother with them because there are too many bargain bin releases out there to undermine their profits. So aside from a few of those (Prince Of Darkness, Serpent & The Rainbow), most of those titles are long shots. |

One title that I'd really like Shout Factory to go after would be Cherry Falls (2000). It was originally released by USA Entertainment, and I believe they're owned by Universal--so I suppose there's a chance. Obviously, I'd want to get the unrated/uncut version with all the gnarly gore intact.
