Thanks for posting this! I just signed. It can't hurt to try this route as it would just send even more messages to Echo Bridge to give up something there not doing anything with.

I wouldn't worry about compression issues, Shout is normally very conscious of things like that so we should be in good hands for this release.

I wouldn't hold out for TV spots. Wasn't this a straight-to-video release when it first came out?

Ah, well if they do I hope they release it.

As for TerrorVision/The Video Dead double feature, if there's any amount of extras included, I hope they're each on separate discs.

Watched Terror Train last night and it was beautiful. I would have liked more extras but the ones that were included were great. The Train Whistle is almost like a character in the movie.

Or, if the extras are SD (I'm not sure why they would be though, unless there are any vintage featurettes or interviews lying around), just include them on the DVD and not the Blu-ray, to free up more space for the films on the latter. (As should have been the case with Curse of Frankenstein.)

Interested in the price of The Video Dead/Terrorvision double-bill, but I'll get it regardless. If it came stacked with extras, and on separate discs, easy 30 bucks for me.

But since they aren't Collector's Editions, I wonder if we'd be lucky enough to get them for about 14.99.

The Nest, the only non-SE release so far, has a slightly lower list price - $26.99 instead of $29.99 - so I'm assuming future regular editions will have the same price. I really hope its status as a regular edition doesn't mean no poster for TerrorVision!

Yeah, I believe you're correct. Maybe TV spots for "TerrorVision" then since that saw a theatrical release?

I think this double feature (TerrorVision/The Video Dead) pretty much guarantees that The Town that Dreaded Sundown and The Evictors will be bundled together.

I wonder if they might consider bundling New Year's Evil and To All A Goodnight?

Does MGM even have To All a Goodnight?

While we won't know for sure until an official announcement is made, I think you may be right. Double features are something we knew were coming from the very beginning and if "The Town that Dreaded Sundown" and "The Evictors" are bundled together, it definitely makes a lot of sense since there from the same director so there's at least good grounds for it. Would I prefer separate releases? Sure, but at the end of the day, I just want all these films to be out. Getting them bundled together on Blu-ray is a great compromise though because they could have easily just been released as DVD only double features or something. Shout does a good job bundling films together, I haven't been disappointed in all the double and triple features I've bought from them in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if "The Evictors" isn't in top shape so if we're fortunate to still get it on Blu-ray would be a real score.

Personally I think that I will end up buying a lot more of these because they will be double features. I'm having a hard time to justify blind purchasing "The Island" and "Death Valley" separately. But with the double feature it will be more economically sound on my wallet.

Double features like this are great IMO. You get two similarily themed movies for the price of one and it sounds like we'll be getting some supplements too! I have about 10 inches of space left on my shelf before my blurays start invading my DVDs so the more space I can save the better

That's not such a bad thing though, in fact, I hope they are packaged together, I was curious about "The Evictors" but definitely wanted "Town" so the way I look at it is I'm buying "Town that Dreaded Sundown" and getting a bonus flick for the price of one essentially.

Oh Yeah a Double Feature is fine as long as the price isn't too high. Not even saying these ones in particularly but sometimes you end up paying more for a double feature when you only want one of the titles. Now if you want both titles it works in your favor because a double feature should cost less than if you bought the two titles separately. And if these Scream Factory double features fall in the same price range as their current releases than yeah a double feature all the way.

The TerrorVision/Video Dead double feature does look pretty sweet! Cool cover combination. I never seen either one so this might be pretty cool.
