I rarely watch new movie and when I do it's always something from my corner of the world. Our movies aren't filled with CGI and loud music so I can tolerate them. I know those films have their fans, but I prefer to watch the original productions who are usually done better. Of course there are exceptions like The Thing or Invasion of the Body Snatchers but they aren't part of that remake fad.

Thats fair enough. I prefer 80's horror, aswell as some 70's stuff. I'm with you on CGI, I hate it when its overdone. What country do you live in?

I would love to see Matinee get a release from Scream Factory! Granted, it's not a horror film per se (except for the movie within the movie, MANT), but it does celebrate the genre we all love. If they strike another deal with Universal, maybe they could do a Joe Dante double feature of it with The 'Burbs.

Nice! I would get those for sure! I have the double pack of those two films and watched them recently. Would love some features and a commentary seeing how they were barebones.

Just from looking at the first page, I have come to the possible conclusion that The Godsend and The Vagrant will be featured in a horror quad pack that was previously mentioned on Facebook.
Thoughts?

No, think he's getting a little too Indie-labels-can-do-everything happy about Scream's Universal connections, and getting antsy for Universal's Solo Monsters Wave 2 next year.
THAT franchise we can only pry from Universal's cold dead hands.

On Facebook, it was said that there would be sci fi, action, and ,yes, horror quad packs. I just assumed because they are DVD only. That, and I'm pretty sure that they are both slashers.

I think that is likely since the quad pack is DVD only, and they are horror films..it makes sense anyway...and I know they have lots of horror titles, but they would need to be paired with other films that will not have HD masters...maybe things (speculation) like Cellar Dweller or the Borrower (?)

I think those might be accurate. Off the top of my head, I think other possibilities might be Clownhouse or Prom Night 2. Maybe Candyman 2. Could be anything, really. This is just speculation.

On another note, a title that I want from MGM is, and I'm probably alone here, Vampire's Kiss. I'm also lretty sure that there is the slightest possibility of a Howling quad pack... Shout bought out the company owning 3, 5, and 6 and we've been tricked before when titles have been turned down.

I'd be shocked if Clownhouse got a major label release anywhere

I didn't deny anything. But, Dressed to Kill already has an MGM blu-ray.
