I'll give any of the titles a watch, as the majority are on YouTube for free. Those that aren't are really the ones that I want to see. If I like, I'll buy. If not, meh.

There's also a good chance I was home sick from school, with a fever. Not the best mix!

To me Poltergeist II has it's moments (the tequila monster, Kane, Jerry Goldsmith coming back for the score) as does part III (the frozen pool, the mirror stuff, the evil twin stuff), but they're not even in the same league as the original film. Kind of reminds me in the drop in quality of the Jaws films, except I do think the second Jaws film has more good than bad going for it. I think I would get these though if there were some real special features for them since the Poltergeist films behind the scenes stuff would be fascinating.

I just can't get into Jaws 2. I've seen it twice and just can't enjoy it. I feel like it is trying to top the first and, by doing so, fails. 3D is so much fun that I consider it a win. The Revenge had about two good moments but I'd give it a watch again. 2 is the only one I'd second-guess myself on.

If Scream were to somehow get 3D (although I do doubt it), I would love a featurette with Joe Dante explaining Jaws 3, People 0. The script, the behind the scenes, and how it got to what we know today.

Don't think this was mentioned (either that or it's a "duh" thing) but since there will be no new art for Psycho II/III, there will be no posters for those that order directly from Shout Factory. This comes from Scream's Facebook.

Since this seems to be the year of John Carpenter on blu-ray, you think Shout! might release an ultimate edition of ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13?

Seeing as how it's an Image title right now, probably not.

With that said, Image's release is pretty good, and worth picking up if you're a fan.

Even better still, grab the German Mediabook. Same extras, a nicer looking transfer and you even get the extended score on the German dub (don't even ask me what that's all about lol, but its interesting)

"Cocky"... because they won't release what you want them to release?

Wow.

Just wow.

Here's the special features for X- Ray (Hospital Massacre), Schizoid, Q The Winged Serpent and Dark Angel (I come in Peace):

X-Ray:

- Interview with director Boaz Davidson

Schizoid:

- Interview with Donna Wilkes
- Theatrical trailer

Q The Winged Serpent:

- New Audio Commentary with writer/producer/director Larry Cohen

Dark Angel:

- Interviews with director Craig R. Baxley and actors Dolph Lundgren and Brian Benben
- Theatrical trailer

I'm kind of hoping these aren't the final extras, maybe it's because I'm getting used to the whole SF treatment to the titles. Besides, I really wanted an interview with Barbi Benton.

I don't about the other titles, but concerning Q those are official. Even Dvd active list them as the final ones. The only extras included in the previous release were a commentary with the director and a trailer. The only thing they ported over was the trailer, as the commentary included in the SF edition is new.

To me those supplements are plush for some of those, I'm excited just to get Dark Angel on blu-ray at all. These aren't "Collector's Edition" items so anything at all is a gift in my opinion. A new commentary from Larry Cohen? Director comments/interviews on all titles? Gold!
