The two that I bought the set for were The Outing and The Godsend.
What's the Matter with Helen? was very good also.

But The Vagrant was a snoozer, imo. BAD movie.

If you wanna give us Bill Paxton on blu-ray, why not something good, like Brain Dead, with Bill Pullman too! Lol.

I meant the 90s Brain Dead, not the "Braindead" that Lionsgate has.

That's why I bought the 2-disc Anchor Bay DVD today for $3.35. Thanks Flea Market. I also got The Thing and the Director's Cut of Army of Darkness. All of it for $10.

Thanks, I am glad it is not just me, I just now checked again and I still do not see the forum button and when I try to place an order it still says invalid, I guess it is time to stop ordering directly from them now, that site is so F'd up now.

Near Dark has Bill Paxton in it , referring to The Vagrant /Bill Paxton movies on Blu Ray...I wasnt referring to Lionsgate's Brain Dead. It just happens that Near Dark is a Lionsgate film and they did a crappy job

When your expecting to receive it in 3 days a week or so isn't acceptable

Yep.. I was going to order the Psycho II and III set w/ Legacy disc. Instead I chose to go to deepdiscount where they have both movies for $18 each with free shipping. I'll just get Legacy later off of ebay.

Too bad.. I like Scream/Shout and like to support them directly. That website is severly jacked up right now though....

Absolutely.

I had been holding off on buying any of the Scream Factory titles and decided to just take the dive. To start with I planned on buying them all with the posters and stuff from the site. Then I waited too long and some of those sold out. Then I decided to hold off, then by doing that a lot of places didn't ship with the slip covers anymore. I decided to hold off again. Then with this recent sale and them promising, to start with, that all titles would ship with slips that came with one originally I decided to at least buy all of the Collector's Editions they had on sale. Then I decided to just jump on deals elsewhere for the September titles since they were recent and I knew they would likely still ship with slips. Then I preordered the rest of the announced titles from different sites at the lowest prices. From here on out I'll at least buy all of the CE releases, and then random regular releases and box sets I'm really interested in.

There's not a Scream Factory trading thread here, is there? I think it would be cool to have one since I have a copy of The Town That Dreaded Sundown that I want to trade.

The trade thread would be awesome, but alot of people don't wanna give up their scream factory stuff... I actually only have 8 movies left to get before my scream factory collection is complete (excluding ones that are not out yet)

Still having never seen "Saturn 3" and truthfully never even heard of it until its announcement, I was surprised to see it once graced the cover of Fangoria magazine.

So, I'm prompted to ask the obvious, for anyone who has seen it, what can you compare it to? Would it make a good blind buy? Is it bad bad, or good bad, or just an underrated good sci-fi film?

Yeah, in past year before I took the dive this month I had kept my eye on both this forum, other forums, and even eBay and these titles rarely come up for trade or for sale, even less so than things like Criterions and stuff.

To be honest, that surprises me because while horror fans are a dedicated bunch, let's be honest, some of the Scream Factory films just aren't good.
