I wont quote it verbatim but they are NOT announcing Halloween 6. They would love to do it but there is no deal for it. It sounded like it's on their radar

Here is a direct quote though
*A couple of non-Halloween associated titles will be announced there and on Facebook tomorrow.*

So whatever that sounds like to you guys, I havent a clue...
Might they be older movies that arent slashers, or a totally non horror genre ?

I thought I was in deep doo doo for something when he wrote me !!!
Cool. I was expecting only one title. I say Sleepaway Camp 2&3. They said a deal, and now there are multiple titles in play.

I don't particularly like either version but I would buy that one if it got an official release.
There are also two worse elements. The incest, for one, and the ending, with
[Show spoiler]Michael being stopped by rocks.

For those in the UK, Day of the Dead Blu can currently be had for $20 shipped (£12.85 according to Paypal's conversion) from Ebay seller blowitoutahere. Cheapest price I've seen for it, and a great price for a Scream Factory CE.

Hearing that "Halloween 6" isn't on the cards has me even more intrigued. Perhaps "Road Games" to join the Jamie Lee Curtis flicks Scream has already released? Either way, we'll be finding out soon enough. I can't wait

I hope Sleepaway Camp 2 and 3!

Maybe Sleepaway Camp was the only one they had around Halloween and felt pressured to announce it before they could seal the deal on the sequels?

He said they are not Halloween related...wouldnt that eliminate Sleepaway Camp 2 and 3 since they are horror movies...
They could be in the line of Saturn 3 or Eve of Destruction or Beast of Hallow Mountain...
Or how about some classic sci fi..
The MGM Catalog offers alot of possibilities such as Donovans Brain Gorath, Yongary, At the Earths Core ..They could be outside the 80s...even The Brain That Wouldnt Die might be possible..Im thinking outside of 80s horror films

My guess is that he meant not related to the Halloween franchise. Since everyone was guessing the Producer's cut of Halloween 6. I think it is a horror film, possibly even a slasher. I remember Justin Beahms's comment on Facebook in early Nov.

I reckon he means its not "Halloween" franchise related with them being at the 35 years event.

Sleepawy camp 2&3 would be great as would any from "Fright Night part 2","Leviathan" or "Shocker"
Does anyone know who has the rights to "Nightwish" or "Rush Week" both (1988), i need to retire my vhs.

Probably not. Roadgames is with Lionsgate, through StudioCanal. If Scream made a deal with them, that would be awesome though. Doubtful, as Lionsgate is about to release a StudioCanal film on BD (Wicker Man).

I'm pretty sure that it is not Shocker. Sorry, but I do not think a third Universal deal has happened yet.

Catherine Mary Stewart is so hot in Night of the Comet. Even now she still looks gorgeous.

I enjoyed this viewing of Comet more than when I watched it for the first time a few months ago. Very fun and enjoyable. The Blu has some speckles on the print but no other major complaints.

That is the indication posted on the previous page by dsman71's response on FB from SF:

"there", I'm assuming, means here(blu-ray.com).

Pretty sure Nightwish is with LionsGate. I saw it on NetFlix a while back and I think it had the Trimark logo before it. Also, wasn't the VHS Trimark?

As for Rush Week, my guess would be it is with the original producers. The DVD was released by Simitar, a budget label. The VHS was released by Columbia Pictures, so I doubt Simitar could have gotten the rights from them.

I think I might have mentioned this before, but I still have the video store poster for Rush Week. Before seeing the poster, I had never noticed the little guy with an axe in the upstairs window of the house (which is the same house from Witchboard, Waxwork, and Willard by the way).

That poster is awesome mate(would you sell it) I knew that was the same house in all them movies as i've been looking at horror film locations recently. Not far away from there is the house from "The People Under the Stairs" and across the road from that is the house from twice dead.Hopefully there is a small chance of a "Rush Week" release someday. The lead girl from RW was also in a nifty little vampire movie called "Pale Blood" would love a blu of that too.

Wasn't their panel at 1pm? Its been like 40 minutes.

I was under the impression that they would be announcing at least one of them there?
or did the plan change?

I think we just need to be a little more patient.
