Right now, I only have Halloween 2&3, Phantasm 2, and They Live. But I want:
-From Beyond
-Swamp Thing
-Day of the Dead
-Night of the Comet
-Night of the Demons
-Terror Train
-TerrorVision/Video Dead
..and maybe a few blind buys.
Its awesome to see a 16 year old dedicated to older horror movies. Most people your age have no appreciation for 80's horror and only like most of the modern stuff.

You'll get there mate. Halloween 2 and 3 are great to have. Out of your list I highly recommend Terror Vision/Video Dead, its one of Scream's best releases and Terror Vision looks fantastic and its a great movie. Day of the Dead and Terror Train also come recommended. I havn't got Night of the Comet yet, but want it and I'm sure its a great release.

Good luck on the job front.

I also think its Halloween 6.

It finally (just a couple weeks ago) premiered officially at New Beverly.

And its a Halloween Convention!
And they have refered to a single title they are hoping to have signed very soon.
I can't see them announcing anything else.

Plus, they could have waited an held-off another announcement until the Halloween convention, without announcing it on Facebook, if they just wanted any old movie.

They are specifically announcing a specific movie at a specific convention.

My final word: specific.

Ah, fellow 16 year old horror brethren!

Trust me, once you get the work, the money starts pouring in, and you have no idea what to do with it all!

I'm in a similar spot to you, the job I have is very much helping my Arrow addiction

Good to know. Either way, I'll be saving money in one way or another. I applied to my local AMC Theater, which means I'll see free movies, and Newbury Comics, which means discount on Scream Factory titles.

I also will say its Halloween 6 - but I dont know much about there being a Producers Cut..how is it different than what's out there, is it really drastic ?
There are tons of DVD / Blu Ray releases for the movie.
Despite that guess I am certain they have gotten a hold of more older movies to keep the mix going... Pretty exciting time to collect

The Producer's Cut of that movie is extremely different. The final third in particular makes it a totally different beast than what was released.

I don't particularly like either version but I would buy that one if it got an official release.

There's also a TV version for Halloween 6. Here are the differences between the Theatrical and the Producers Cut:
http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=1392
The Producers Cut is about 15 minutes longer with several cut and alternate versions of scenes.

I have one of the (horrible quality) Dvd bootlegs, and I like both versions for different reasons. But I would say the Producer's Cut which features an entirely different 3rd act, is much better made.

And the Original Halloween Music by John Carpenter definitely helps the mood better.

Really considering ordering Eve of Destruction and Assault right now, to me those look to be the best of this month.

I ordered The Fog and Assault on Precinct 13 while reaaaaally drunk last night.. With their 10% off they only cost around 15 bucks each at importcds but typing in the code was a *****!

Hope The Fog still ships with slipcover - would look stoopid next to my other CE otherwise

Think importcds is the best bet for older CE slips imo, they get a bad rap sometimes but ive never had a problem with them, infact, got body bags this morning after only 8 days which is quite fast on average to the uk.

I like them. Reasonable shipping rates, they send items individually as they are released, their prices on Scream Factory, Olive and Raro are almost always lower than everyone else.. They are quickly becoming my favorite for US releases

Do you know if people have received The Fog without slip from other retailers?

Good morning everyone,
I checked my inbox on Facebook and there was a message from Scream Factory Jeff
I wont quote it verbatim but they are NOT announcing Halloween 6. They would love to do it but there is no deal for it. It sounded like it's on their radar

Here is a direct quote though
*A couple of non-Halloween associated titles will be announced there and on Facebook tomorrow.*

So whatever that sounds like to you guys, I havent a clue...
Might they be older movies that arent slashers, or a totally non horror genre ?

I thought I was in deep doo doo for something when he wrote me !!!

I ordered mine from amazon as well and got the same email about the delay. Ordered it sometime ago also. Not sure why amazon got shorted.
