Anything could be considered a surprise, but realistically I'd say that it's bigger or more coveted than Shocker. Not knocking Shocker, because I adore it, it's just not one of those super surprising titles, especially surrounded by three others, they'd have to be horrible titles to make it stand out a ton more than it already would.

I think, if not sony, it will be 3 Fox titles, and one random other title (not from a large studio), and that one will be the surprise.

a guess:

Fox Title 1 (The Fly 2?)
Fox Title 2 (Dunwich Horror?)
Fox Title 3 (Something Else??)
Rawhead Rex (because that one would likely be a solo acquisition from a personal rightsholder, and theoretically Barker could have known who held the rights and spilled the beans to Cliff and co. during their work on Nightbreed)

I got an icom, It is really nice and plays all region DVD and BDs! Awesome player and it is also 3D! It is cheap but not cheaply made. Plays NTSC or PAL.
Here is the link for it:

Dunwich Horroris an MGM/UA title. If it's Fox titles, I'm with dsman71 on Tales from the Crypt, Vault of Horror, The Legend of Hell House. There's also Shock Treatment (yes, I know they already turned it down demonknight ), Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte, The House on Skull Mountain, The Mephisto Waltz or Warning Sign.

I'm hoping for Madman, with the blue filter back so night doesn't look like day. It too, was nixed before. But so was Slumber Party Massacre back in 2012 when it was said the elements were a mess. I never expected The Final Terror to ever hit Blu-Ray. So heck, I figure anything is possible at some point.

Thanks very much for that info! I will definitely check it out and research more. Never heard of the brand, but the reviews look promising, including your experience.

While i am not massivley into their contempary titles like someone said, they do no harm. Scream imo is clearly holding back the big titles for the lucrative build up to halloween, isn't there a big announcement planned for may? i think alot of us will be happy then.
btw way, with scream releasing "newer" films like "Lake Placid" i would love it if they did "Darkness Falls" its a film everyone seemed to loathe when it came out but its really grown on me over the years, was it Columbia/Tristar? can't remember, probably Lionsgate
No it's owned by Revolution Pictures, which is part Columbia Pictures. Which is Sony.

Hopefully more Wes Craven films come out. Shocker being the one i want most.

I'm thinking Sony on these. Who knows, maybe Candyman is the title Barker was talking about. Kinda a long shot, I guess. But they could have worked something out regarding extras.

And the extra surprising one could even be Fright Night II!
If they got deep into Sony's catalog, they may have been able to uncover that they owned the rights all along...
TriStar Pictures which is now a subsidiary of Sony handled the international theatrical distribution for Fright Night 2 so you never know.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Carpenter's THE THING. I think it's a very real possibility that Shout may have acquired it. Universal may no longer be interested in exploiting the film since the reboot didn't work out so farming it out to Shout makes sense. I mean, if we're talking about "surprises" then it makes sense.

Another "left field" title IMO is The MUTILATOR. Any number of things could've happened between Code Red's initial announcement and now. They could've found a print.

I love The Thing but it would be senseless title for them to upgrade IMO, considering it would be difficult to top the current release (I'm referring to the UK one here, which is region free).

I'd hope the surprise title would be something that hasn't had a past Blu-ray release, maybe not even a DVD one. It would be interesting if it was something in Fox's catalogue.
