Ok, I'll remove those two too, and as for Ilsa, people requested that not me,

Phantasm would be for me a dream title from Scream Factory. Much more so than Pumpkinhead or Without Warning but I would be happy with any these films.

Lol, Bloody Disgusting did not confirm. The article starts with their source which is from..... Ain't It Cool News. If and when it is confirmed, we all will !!!!

As for Phantasm V, Coscarelli made a weird maybe confirmation today on twitter. He wrote: #FourBarrelShotgun. That was it.

On the list, Texas Chainsaw Massacre can and should be removed, as Dark Sky has released it in a good version and intends to release it even better this year.

Huh. In this case, I would still not be surprised if it was and they lied.

But wait. What if the surprise is that they have picked up Phantasm V?

You might be on to something. It would be considered something hard to keep under wraps.

So, received Vampire Lovers from Amazon today and it was completely crushed in the mail, so I couldn't watch it. Shards of plastic were all over the place in the envelope. Hooray! This is a first. Guess I get to try out their return policy for the first time since I've had an account there! Shout needs to get some more of these 70s flicks.

What's the huge appeal of these phantasm sequels? I've only seen the original and while the concept was insanely entertaining (iirc, a bunch of gnomes in robes were stealing corpses to feed through a portal to the netherworld, and were led by a big tall guy who had a killer silver orb!) I have a hard time imagining why the sequels seem to be so popular on here! I saw part of one of them once on TV, I think...i believe there was a kid running around with a black soldier lady and there were multiple silver orbs of death? That's all I remember!

They are just fun flicks just like all the other horror flicks with sequels, like Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm St. and so on.

That was the third one. It is by far the worst one in the whole series.

I do suggest 2&4, but you have to see 3 to fully understand 4.

I've only seen bits of 2. I have the blu-ray of two (as I already mentioned) so I'd love Phantasm on blu-ray from Scream, it'll give me the chance to see them "for the first time'.

And friday will be the 35th Anniversary down to the day (even day of the week, if I'm not mistaken). As zibinks pointed out. Plus the quasi-announcement of Phantasm 5, as others noted. It could all be coincidence, but maybe not... Hopefully not...
