Of their non-chiller new films, I've loved them all!
Dead Shadows, Cockneys Vs Zombies, and The Battery have all been really good, imo.

I love Phantasm but it's one of those movies I've seen a gazillion times, like Evil Dead or Halloween. Having said this, I think Phantasm is a good possibility. Anytime they announce a "big" title it's always big as in "very well known", never an obscure title.

Different titles/deals undoubtedly have different expectations. Perhaps the licensing fees were low enough that they don't really need to be bestsellers.

I also suspect the Chiller deal is dissimilar to their back-catalog deals, considering that some/most of these films didn't even exist when that deal was finalized. How do you gauge potential sales/interest for films that don't exist yet?

They've been pretty adamant about not being able to release any more Universal titles this year.

Well, it is likely not many of those 150 as many are out of reach for 99.9% of Al time (Warner, Image, Lionsgate) or have been denied today (Prom Night 2, any Universal title, etc.).

Phantasm 5 has been confirmed to exist by bloody-disgusting.com earlier today. Another site actually talked about it existing back in 2012 as well... I think it was shocktilludrop.com. It'd be cool to see the studios come together ala the Child's play/chucky set and release a phantasm set, but that'd be highly unlikely for a scream factory release.
