I'd love to see Scream! release a Species box set. Next year would be a great time since it's the 20th anniversary of the first movie. There is already new art for it so that part is done, just need a new transfer and some nice extras.

Where did you look? Should be able to get it off eBay or amazon.co.UK marketplace for wayyyyyy less. I got it sealed for less than 30 a couple months ago.

I think he's looking at the import listing on the US Amazon site where they tacked on a hefty Import premium. The Amazon.co.uk listing isn't anywhere close to $60.00.

It's still pretty pricey at £23.48 though. It was £13.15 when I pre-ordered last year.

Just saw the Carrie announcement not something I expected. I saw Carrie 2 in the early 2000s on DVD and thought it was terrible. I had no idea a TV movie existed, is it worth a watch?

The TV version is closer to the book and has some decent acting from Angela Bettis and Patricia Clarkson, but the CGI effects are dreadful.
And yes, Carrie 2 is horrible.

So far, there are three listings over $50 on Ebay. A few at over 40 GBP. Man wish it would get a US release.

Im trying to figure out what could be a big announcement ? Needful Things ? Something not MGM like Alligator ?

Carrie would have been big but that isn't happening

They also did a pressed DVD of it paired with Psycho II, Psycho III, and Psycho IV, but the bad news is they're all crammed onto a single disc.
