Isn't it MGM. That'd be a nice little flick for Scream Factory to get their hands on.
I thought the wrap-around segments were very... different. Lol. Overall though, Screamtime was pretty good, imo.

Nah. Sony. I've been planning on getting a region free player, but that's not going to happen until next year.

Count Yorga double feature
MGM possibilities are too numerous to really make a solid guess without any idea how many titles were acquired (could be single digits, could be a few dozen) or any other real hints.

I have a feeling at least a couple of the films from the following list might be part of the new MGM deal...

[Show spoiler]Audrey Rose or Burnt Offerings (whichever one Twilight Time didn't get)
Breeders
Bubba Ho-Tep
Burn, Witch, Burn!
Creature (Titan Find)
Crimson Cult
The Dark Half
Dark Tower
Deranged
Dolls
The Dunwich Horror
Edge of Sanity
Frogs
Ghoulies
Ghoulies II
The House Where Evil Dwells
I, Madman
The Immortalizer
It! The Terror From Beyond Space
Jaws of Satan
Monster Dog
Needful Things
New Year's Evil
Planet of the Vampires
Premature Burial
Raw Meat
Robot Jox
Savage Weekend
Scarecrows
Shredder
Sometimes They Come Back
Spellbinder
Spellcaster
Squirm
Stigmata
Troll
X: The Man with X-Ray Eyes
Zone Troopers

...and that still probably just scratches the surface of what MGM has available at it's disposal.

There's always a possibility they managed to get MGM to re-agree to let them do Carrie.

I'm about to watch an anthology myself, Screamtime.

Just out of curiosity, do you listen to the Bloodcast podcast on geeknation? They just did an episode on anthologies the other day and it got me in the mood for some of them. Watched both V/H/S films yesterday and I'm gonna knock out Tales from the Hood and the already mentioned Screamtime tonight.
Maybe Scream might announce Tales from The Hood in a CE BD with a new transfer and extras galore sometime this summer or fall or winter.

1995's LORD OF ILLUSIONS will be coming to Blu-ray for the first time later this Fall as a Collector's Edition. The cat was let out of the bag from it's Director himself -- the legendary Clive Barker - today on his Facebook page.

We have no other details to report ay this time but we know a lot of you are excited about the news. More info will become more clearer in the Summer when we begin to work on the title.

Lord of Illusions is awesome! Clive Barker double feature this fall with that and Nightbreed DC.

I'm working on Barker's Books of Blood right now. Getting ready to move into book 2.
"In the Hills, the Cities" is one of the greatest things he's ever written. Superb story.

I don't worry about announcements anymore. Once a holy grail is announced everything else seems ordinary. This is how I feel now that I know Shout will be releasing The Final Terror. I'm not a fan of pre-1975, 1990's (with few exceptions), Clive Barker, Vincent Price or most post-2000 films. I'll happily buy anything that fits my personal criteria but I'm done wishing and hoping.

Ive always felt these movies felt like shoe-ins for SF. Sort of like perfect fits from this studio
Without Warning, Pumpkinhead, Invaders from Mars, Escape from NY, The Car,Burnt Offerings, Squirm , The Oblong Box, Scream and Scream Again, Theater of Blood, Planet of Vampires, & Giant Spider Invasion

Midnight Run, The Quatermass Experiment, Planet of Dinosaurs, Hound of the Baskervilles (on the Shout Factory side)

*Not including titles held by Warner,Lionsgate or studios not licensing to SF otherwise the list would go on and on but to name three - CHUD, The Hidden, and Watchers would be good titles to get*

Of course there is the mystery of Fright Night II

Blowitoutahere cancelled my Night of the Demons because it was on backorder so I order from Shout and it's on backorder too!

Getting worried I won't get a copy from the initial pressing and therefore won't get a slip.

I will probably cancel the one from Shout and just go with Amazon. Should've just done that in the first place.

Anyone know what the problem is with NOTD stock?. Did it sell far more than they predicted? did people rush buy fearing no slip down the line? did Scream manufacture less than usual? or are there crates of it in some warehouse somewhere? i got mine easily enough but it seems rare ( theres only one copy on Amazon uk for £35).

Just seeing the announcement of lord of illusions now, not sure if I should wait on the UK release or get this release. Time will tell.

Well, I'd wait to see if Scream actually includes the director's cut or not. On the UK disc, the director's cut is SD only.

I've heard that B & N often doesn't include slipcovers. Normally I throw them away, but I like my Scream releases to have them for uniformity. I just ordered Darkman from them, and it says it will ship in '1-2 weeks'. Does anyone know what the likelihood of a slip is? Doesn't Scream now shrinkwrap their slips? Has that been the case with Darkman specifically?

Night of the Demons was Shrinkwrapped, I thought that was odd.

If I am correct, I believe Scream has begun to shrink wrap over the slip covers. I think it is a good idea and I hope they continue to do so.

I sure hope that Scream could pick up Joe Dante's new movie, Burying the Ex. Then, there would be a current movie I would buy day 1.
