I've been adding a bunch of Shout Factory titles to my Amazon wish list. Can't wait to get them all!

The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane would be fantastic. Jodie Foster hates it, so I doubt she'd participate in any extras, but I love that film.

This is typical! Some actors and actresses very seldom like their own movies, or don't even watch them at all. If I were an actor, I wouldn't watch my own movies, nor go to their premieres.

Charles Grey was like this. Hard to believe, between the popularity of the Bond franchise and Rocky Horror...

Who cares if Jodie Foster doesn't like it (what was she, 12 when she did it?)??!
We will love it twice as much to make up for her disliking it!

Thinking of going to a Horror Con in the next state over.

Can anyone tell me of positive experiences with:
Dee Wallace
Michael Biehn
Linda Blair
Kane Hodder
Roger Jackson?

I thought I'd ask here, as some are Scream people...

I don't think I've ever seen Jodie Foster bare much skin on any film other than "Little Girl Down the Lane" - maybe she's just horrified that she appeared nude in that film at such a young age. I'd like to see the film hit Blu, though. Neat little thriller.

She didn't, her older sister was her body double. Those scenes are part of why she hates it and essentially says she was just there for the job. It's a shame because it's a great little movie with an especially creepy atmosphere.

It's very stylish too. The ending literally left me jaw-dropped. Not because it was provocative or shocking, just that it was a abrupt and so "classy" for a horror movie death. Plus the foreshadowing to the end scene was so cleverly woven into the story that the payoff at the end was a nice surprise.

I'd absolutely buy The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane on blu-ray, preferably from Scream or Kino, but... How do I say this properly... Ehrm. F#%K Twilight Time.

Holy cow $24? That's really expensive. I pre-ordered Final Exam and Evilspeak for $30.42 shipped total. $10 sure is nice though, I'll give ya that.

Great pick up, but to be honest I wouldn't have bought it because I'm pretty anal with my collection and I couldn't handle that cut out over the barcode. I have turned down many great priced DVDs back in the day if the barcode was slashed. Doesn't this have a reversible cover? That would make the hole even more bothersome. In Canada these titles tend to go on sale a lot so I would be surprised to find this one for $13-$15. But hey, if you're happy with it that's all tht matters!

Is it even legal to sell those promotional discs? They were given out for free for review purposes and I thought they weren't allowed to be resold.

They're not. But that never stops unscrupulous (and/or ignorant) sellers. eBay is chock full of things being sold that aren't legal to sell.

I met Kane Hodder at Rock and Shock 2011. I was so excited to chat with him about cut scenes from the Friday the 13th movies I made the mistake of talking over him for a second and he didn't like that too much, but was still very friendly. If I recall, I think he only charged like $20 for his autograph, which is on the low end for conventions.

I got an 8x10 of him as Jason holding the giant electric saw in "New Blood" signed to me with "You're Next" underneath. I told him I remembered seeing that movie on TV when I was a kid and being amazed by how ridiculous that saw was. He told me it was a real saw that was used for trimming tree branches. Apparently he picked it out in a store near where they were filming the movie.

I am the one immediately on Mr. Hodder's left.

I'm sure the labels don't want these copies to be resold, but I don't think there are any laws that would prohibit the sale on the second hand market. They're basically cut-outs.

Agreed, but I didn't love either of them. Final Exam was, however, far more atmospheric and I do enjoy that aspect of the film.
