Thank you.

I thought Motel Hell looked pretty good also, not prefect but better then a 2.5 that this site gave it.

I know if you order from the Scream site they ship them early, but I ordered mine from them and have not got a email about shipping.

Retailer might of put them out early by mistake. I found Slumber Party Massacre a month before release earlier this year

I've been pondering if Scream would release Blair Witch 2. As a sequel, it sucked. On it's own, it's ok. Looking at various comments online, it seems like overtime it has garnered some fans. Surprised a 2-pack hasn't been released.

I like Bliar Witch 2 better than the first, but I highly doubt it could happen, since its owned by......Lionsgate!

I really liked it more then the first one. I tried to watch the first again when it came out on blu, but turned it off a half hour in as I could not take it. It didn't hold up for me, could be that I really can't stand "found footage" films anymore.

Anyway, Part 2 is with Lionsgate, so Scream! can't release it.

Wow the mystery is solved. I'm still disappointed, maybe even more so knowing I'll need to purchase another player just to watch Return of the Living Dead 3, but at least I know the answer. Thanks Zbinks!

My copy of Death Valley arrived in the mail today, so I'm now totally content with my Scream Factory collection.

(At least until the price drops even more for the Amityville Horror Collection.)

My Scream Factory collection now hits all of the right notes with regard to my nostalgia for my misspent 1980s childhood. It's all good.

If we're talking about wants I hope they keep going with John Carpenter movies. I'd love to have all his films through Scream.

Can someone recommend a few titles to check out from their blu catalog? There is a lot I've never heard of.

These are the Screams I have and like

They Live
From Beyond

Awesome titles (2 of their best IMHO)
Id definitely check out:

1) Halloween II (see original Halloween first)
2) Phantasm II (see original Phantasm first)
3) Prince of Darkness (another Carpenter)
4) Lifeforce (by Tobe Hooper)

I also loved Phantom of the Paradise (but not for everybody)
If you like 80's slashers: go for "The Burning" or "Terror Train"

My favorites:

Prince of Darkness
Sleepaway Camp
Leviathan
Prison
Night of the Demons
Night of the Comet
The Burning
Lifeforce
The Howling
The Fog
Phantom of the Paradise

I think most of those have pretty wide appeal.

If you like older titles, you can't go wrong with the Vincent Price Collection or The Vampire Lovers either

Ha, nope! Carpenter has The Fog, Assault on Precinct 13, They Live and Halloween 2 already through Scream. Escape from NY is coming. Hopefully we get his other films soon, or at least his other classics.

Don't forget Prince of Darkness and Body Bags (he directed one of the stories). Halloween 1 is also coming (as part of the box set). I think his films are some of Scream Factory's higher sellers so it makes sense for them to pursue them. I know I plan on picking them all up.

I'd like for them to do Big Trouble in Little China the most. Ideally, I'd also like them to release all of this films too although I don't think they can get the rights to a few of them.

Carpenter films not on BD in the US:

Memoirs of an Invisible Man - WB, not gonna happen.

Village of the Damned - It's possible, if Shout and Universal can work out another deal.

Vampires - Sony, no chance.

Others (TV movies):

Someone's Watching Me - WB, not happenin'.

Elvis - Shout released it on DVD in 2010. Not sure if they'll bother upgrading.

Movies already released on BD:

The only other films they really have a shot at are Big Trouble in Little China and The Thing.

I'm holding out for Big Trouble in Little China to be re-released in a better edition at some point. If I keep seeing the existing Blu-ray on used racks for cheap, though, then I may give in already.

If Scream released Big Trouble, I'd pick it up for completion purposes but I have Arrow's release and I can't see them doing much better than that. I think even Arrow used Fox's master for it so PQ wouldn't be much different.
