Fox also hand Hand of Death and SpaceMaster X-7 but I doubt Shout would pursue them, I wish they would. Hell I wish someone would, Fox, Shout, MGM. Lets give every unreleased title a chance
MGM also has Sugar Hill - but I bet that's going to wind up with Kino

Lionsgate doesn't license titles to SF does it? Just saw The Bay and would love to see that get released by them at some point

Nope, they'd rather just sit on movies and not make any money from them.

Saw The Bay a year or so ago. It is a pretty creepy and well done horror movie.

Criterion has The Brood and Fiend Without a Face.
Warner has Demon Seed, Village of the Damned, The Green Slime.
The Mysterians is Sony.
Blood Beach is not MGM. Not sure who, but not them. Rights limbo, that one.
Tarzan and Fatal Instinct fit nowhere into the Scream Factory line,

Well hopefully, Scream gets those two titles away from Criterion. I really hated the packaging and the TWO dvds, Criterion did for Scanners. Worst cover ever.

I've heard that Blood Beach, like Without Warning, was sitting in the MGM vaults. Without Warning was finally unleashed recently.

Tarzan & Fatal Instinct WOULD fit in with Shout Factory.

Getting away from Criterion I'd say is impossible. They'll have it for a while now, and will ultimately produce a much higher quality package, meaning even if Scream could do them, they wouldn't. They've already said once they won't release a title with a package they can't beat (Return of the Living Dead)

I like Scream, but why have them take them away from Criterion? Criterion will give you the best of everything for the most part. Plenty of extras, best AV possible. They stopped doing Dual Format too.

OTish but I met Joel Robinson today at Horrorhound Weekend. A totally cool guy. Will probably meet Nathan Thomas Milliner tomorrow. Also got my cover of Q: The Winged Serpent signed by Larry Cohen (also got a production used container of The Stuff signed), plus I had Dee Wallace sign the cover of The Howling. Got pics with all of them too.

Going to preorder Lord of Illusions and the Tales from the Crypt double feature in a few days too.

If it does, I definitely wish for a North American release of The Changeling with George C. Scott.

People always say "plenty of extras" with Criterion but I have so many Criterions with very few features. When they do have features they're usually good ones though, I'll give you that.

Scanners is a great set though, tons of good stuff. I wish I could say I'm surprised some people hate it due to packaging or DVDs being included, but nothing surprises me with collectors.
