Clownhouse will probably never be released again.

Which I think is a shame, because despite the awful production history, it's still a really eerie well made movie in my opinion.

No shame in that. The Facts of Life was an awesome show.

Oh, I agree. But I have hard time seeing anyone touching that film. It would be commercial suicide.

Then again, I could actually see someone releasing it here. But only because the horror genre usually gets ignored, so nobody would be aware of any controversy.

Nice double feature.. I really think Empire of the Ants and Tentacles will be paired now at some point.. Frogs is really a killer creepy animal vs man film , and its more than just frogs that do some damage in this.. the music is creepy too.

I personally can't decide if I like the double packs or single releases? Some weird part of me never liked packs with multiple films unless it was a part of a series (like Scanners 2 and 3 or the Blacula set).

Probably because I never know how I should organize them.

I haven't seen Frogs in a very long time and I don't think I ever got around to renting Food of the Gods when I was younger. I would always see it in the video stores, that cover with the giant rat on the woman in the tree.

Going to watch these on Netflix to see if this will be a purchase or not.

I'm kind of the same way but as long as they're the same genre it's not too bad. I don't organize my movies alphabetically, I do it by genre and then break it down to director or actor if I have a good number of their films that fit that genre. Best example, I line up Romero's films together and Carpenter's horror films stay together as well. I think the only double feature I own is Deep Rising/The Puppetmasters.

I have everything alphabetized for the most part. I have the A to Z and then television after it.

BUT!

I have a case before all of those with the specialty labels that I buy from-Criterion,Scream/Shout, Twilight Time, Kino, Code Red, Blue Underground, Olive, Synapse, Raro, Warner Archives, Grindhouse and Drafthouse. And this is solely because I buy from them about 90 percent of the time, so instead of having to shift literally everything I own whenever I buy new stuff, I only have to just place them in place and it takes about two seconds. I put all the Scream double bills together, typically alphabetically by the first title on the spin.

I think I just prefer single titles, though. Personal preference.

Expect to see the release emerge next Summer.

We still have more films to announce this month so be sure to check back here on our page this month to be the first to see them!

Hahaha, I try to keep some loose space on each level of my bookshelf for new movies but sometimes I do have to shift them around. My mistake, I own two double bills, the second one is Bloodsport/Timecop. At least they're both Van Damme films.

I'm fond of Food of the Gods as well, so this double feature is brilliant and classy.

Yeah, I have one of those 4 film favorites with Seagal, and I filed it under "Seagal."

It's hard to keep a system proper. I do have a shelf devoted to regular releases and maybe like once every 6 months I'll take that shelf and shift everything to shelve them correctly. It's too much of a hassle and I'm too busy to do it every time I buy some stray title. I'm not going to devote a half hour to filing "Nebraska" correctly just because I bought it on a whim.

its easy, put all the scream doubles together at the end, and order them in numerical order by the part number (SF 1####) thats on the spine. right? right?
