Just finished watching Darkman and it made me wonder if Scream would scrape the barrel enough to bring out a Darkman sequels double feature.

Not that I would buy it.

Maybe Rawhead Rex would be cool since they are doing Clive Barker

XTRO is truly a video nasty in every sense of the word. The birth scene is very disturbing. Just an all around mean spirited film.

I kind of want to buy the MGM double feature of The Return of Dracula and The Vampire?

What do you think the odds are that these will be announced the moment after I order it?

The way things have been going, lately I've just been not buying any film that sounds interesting from MGM on DVD because someone might be releasing it shortly after.

These sub labels should just all call themselves MGM, haha.

I would at least wait until November to see what the remaining October announcements will be.

Probably a good idea. I just get such in the whirlpool of purchases this time of year.

I feel like they won't put those out, only because it's a era they haven't mined too much of (aside from the Beast of Hollow Mountain/Neanderthal Man two pack that I wish they would do more of). But yeah, I'll wait for the end of the month.

So how many more MGM genre films are there? It seems like that's all they've been announcing.

What about THE UNNAMABLE? Just saw this flick and thought it was OK. Great gore effects and creepy setting.

Yep. Besides third party vendors on Amazon and EBay that bought stock directly from Shout, it's only available from Shout's website.

And this might also be a reason it's not available:
MGM released the DVD before a dispute over the film rights began and MGM discontinued the film's release. As a result, the film has gone out of print. The production company that made this only released one other movie The Spirit Of 76
I thought it was discontinued because of the campaign against its release mounted by Nathan Forrest Winters? It sure was available only for a very brief time.

I just watched this for the first time this weekend. That is one disturbing movie and I really want it on blu ray now.

It might be with Lionsgate or tied up in rights issue knots
