I ordered a couple on the first week of the Shocktober sale and they came quite a few days ago.

Yeah the 3rd one was Night of the Demons and If I recall by an email it was backordered.

I just heard back from Shout about the status of my order placed last Monday (10/13).

"We sold through our inventory of Pumpkinhead and had to order more. That replenishment should arrive in the warehouse this week, and your order will ship out soon thereafter. Apologies for the delay."

So even if it doesn't show as out of stock, it most likely is if it hasn't yet shipped.
It would be nice if they could at least notify you of a backorder.

Yeah, the stuff I ordered day 1 of week 1 of the sale is backordered till November (night of the demons/motel hell).

This may be a dumb question, but has Scream announced a new movie for every day of October so far? Like one double feature would count as 2 days.

Just ordered about 15 movies as part of this sale

question: has anybody ever received an email from them saying the purchase address provided doesn't match the credit card? All my info is correct, so I emailed them back but I haven't gotten a response yet. Just wondering if this is a common thing. Never ordered from them before.

It doesn't seem like we will get one today..maybe tomorrow and or Friday.. they are probably saving at least 1-2 for Halloween Day next Friday.

They said there would be no more collectors editions to announce this month and no phantasm but I'm assuming they're saving a big one to announce on Halloween. Maybe a box set?

If there is a box set, I imagine it may be a Peter Jackson set...

Aside from that, we could still do a few doubles. For the rest of the month, if it is in fact 31 films, I guess:

It's a pretty sad state of affairs when the only release on that list i'm excited about is Supernova !

It would be great if Shout could get ahold of Warning Sign, it has Yaphet Kotto (ALIEN), Jeffery DeMunn (Walking Dead), Sam Waterson (Law & Order) and Richard Dysart (The Thing).

The DVD has long been OOP and the HD release on VUDU is pretty good.
Hopefully Anchor Bay will release more of their titles to companies like Shout!

Watched Return of the Fly last night. Meh. I'll take The Fly II over it any day. But Price was good in it.

It's hard to know how much of something will sell. I think it's a good sign for Scream that sales have been higher than they expected.

Well Anchor Bay had the rights as of 2006, if its at FOX I see no hope of them ever giving it a proper physical release.
