It's so frustrating. Best Buy shows Mad Max Collector's Edition for $12.99, but that it's "Coming Soon" with no option to pre-order. Seems like a great price.

Set a 10lb weight on a steelbook, and then on a Neo Case, and let me know what happens.
Well, everyone's different. That's what makes the world so interesting. Honestly I would take a normal Viva Elite case over both of them. I only buy steelbooks or neo cases if I prefer the cover art.

Also laughing at the Neko Case reference. My user name is from one of her songs!

I live in her home town and know several people who used to date her. A couple of them might even be telling the truth.

It's The Sentinel.

Quote:
We are beyond thrilled today to report that we will be bringing the 1977 cult classic chiller THE SENTINEL to Blu-ray for the first time in the U.S. and Canada!

Planned release is for August. This often underrated, overlooked and shocking film from Director Michael Winner (Death Wish) has been highly-requested from fans over the years and is also a personal favorite for some of us here too.

Based on Jeffrey Konvitz's best-selling novel and featuring special make-up effects by Dick Smith (The Exorcist) the film sports an impressive number of well-known actors ever assembled together in horror film history including Chris Sarandon (Fright Night), Christina Raines (Nightmares, The Duelists) Christopher Walken (The Dead Zone), Ava Gardner (Earthquake, The Cassandra Crossing), Jeff Goldblum (The Fly), Jerry Orbach (Law & Order), Beverly D’ Angelo (National Lampoon’s Vacation), Sylvia Miles (The Funhouse), Burgess Meredith (Rocky, Burnt Offerings), Eli Wallach (The Magnificent Seven), Martin Balsam (Psycho), Tom Berenger (Major League), Jose Ferrer (The Caine Mutiny), John Carradine (The Howling, Shockwaves), Deborah Raffin (God Told Me To) and William Hickey (Tales From The Darkside: The Movie, Prizzi’s Honor).

No details to announce about upcoming extras but we can tease that we do have a special one already banked that will be a real treat for die-hard fans.

We hope you’re pleased with this exciting addition to our Scream Factory family and we have more new – as just as exciting - title announcements planned throughout the Spring and Summer so stay tuned!

This is awesome they're getting another classic 70's horror film but sadly when I watched it years ago all the massive praise from horror fans ruined it for me a bit. In short, I didn't find it to be all that great.

Still really cool for the rest of you who have been waiting for this movie for quite sometime.

This will be a Collector's Edition, right? I can't see it not being one.

I'm so glad it's The Sentinel!! Can't wait to pick it up!

Wish List:
1. Shocker
2. Village of the Damned
3. Psycho IV (w/ Bates Motel)
4. The Serpent and the Rainbow
5. Raising Cain
6. Ghost Story
7. Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight / Bordello of Blood (Double Feature)
8. The Hitcher (2007) / The Hitcher II: I've Been Waiting (Double Feature)
9. The People Under the Stairs
10. The Thing (honestly the current edition leaves much to be desired)

Those are just the biggies that I can think of off the top of my head! I really hope I can finally cross those off the list soon!

Scream just replied that they wanted it to be a collectors edition bit because of a lack of materials, actors passing away, etc they didn't feel they had enough content to warrant the extra price that comes with a collectors edition, so no, it will not be one.

Also, did you get my pm about Halloween 6?
