Out of volumes 1 and 2 I've only seen witch finder general (I thought it was really good but was told it's nothing like the other movies in the collection). So of the 2 volumes which do you consider better?
Still need to watch my sets, but Vol. 2 has my favorite Price/Corman film, Tomb Of Ligeia. I also highly recommend Theater of Blood if you're region free, another long time Price favorite for me.

Scream just announced The People Under the Stairs
Per Facebook :

**DOUBLE SURPRISE! NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT & ARTWORK REVEAL!**
Our “Summer of Fear Part 2” line-up continues to increase with our plans to release Wes Craven’s fascinating and weird (in the best way possible) cult favorite THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS in an all-new Collector’s Edition release!
Planned release is for August and pre-order links will go up next month. The newly designed artwork you see here is official. (Purists: Yes, the classic "skull house" original poster art will be on the flip side too.) No exact details to announce about if any upcoming extras but we already have two all-new ones banked and more planned.

I'd be tempted to double-dip if they somehow get an interview with Everett McGill, though that seems highly unlikely.

Is this the quickest follow-up double dip ever? The People under the stairs came out Just last September. With an August release this will be a new edition in under a year. I can't imagine that there will be any difference between transfers, which leaves just special features. This will be an interesting title to watch as far as sales go. I've been meaning to pick this up, so now I'll have to wait to see what the differences are. This may be a tough sale though.... If the MGM Blu drops to 9.99-12.99 this fall while the scream edition is trying to sell for 19.99-24.99, it might lead to sluggish sales.

They seem to have a good working relationship with both Wes Craven and John Carpenter. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Shocker, Serpent and the Rainbow AND Village Of The Damned are on the release list eventually (maybe even a new blu ray of Carpenter's 'The Thing" at some point since it's also owned by Universal ).

Kind of a reverse of the Shadow which Universal released after (EDIT - before heehee) Shout Factory did which led to some friction (hearsay from an insider)

I wonder if Scream will consider a Collector's Edition of Firestarter then? I know they said they'd only release Badham's Dracula if they can use the original colour timing, so it will be interesting to see what happens there.

Im skeptical that they have the Thing.. that might be one of Universals untouchables along with the Jaws films..
