Yeah, I am at a loss to this as well. Maybe because it's very similar to the first? I love it.

Yes, they asked Universal, and was told that Uni has plans to release them.

that makes 2 of us!! JAWS is my favorite film... of all time... and I think it's a good sequel.

Is it great? no, of course not.
Is it better than the other sequels? Absolutely! I really hope it gets a blu ray release soon... and I'm betting that it's a good seller when it happens

The Tales from the Crypt covers look oddly poor to me, but love that Army of Darkness cover.

Jaws 2 save Roy Schieder is a very poor follow-up to a classic. The shark, passable in the first because we see very little, is front and center and kills any tension build up that the first had. The teens are generic and nobody really cares if they lived or died. One of Murray Hamilton's best scenes is deleted. And overall is just piss poorly written.

Yeah, it's Clownhouse that carries the stigma, not The Funhouse.

I'm glad somebody said it.

Although I think you might be too generous in suggesting it's ten fans. I doubt if the number is that high.

I've seen threads with 200 posts...and it's usually the same half dozen guys agreeing with each other. Think of the "subtitle complainers". While I'm not entirely unsympathetic to them, the fact is that there are two hardcore complainers plus two more guys who are mildly supportive but they can generate pages of responses giving the appearance of a big issue.

Scream and Shout get a big chunk of my BD budget. For the last several months, that has included EVERY double feature but only the occassional single release. It's not that I don't want or like the single movie releases but they must compete directly against my Olive and Kino purchases and they don't fare too well. For example, right now SCARECROWS on amazon.ca is $24.99CDN...but Kino's TALES OF TERROR is $14.49, CRIMSON CULT is $16.49. SCARECROWS is a no sale.

Unfortunately , the internet as well as Facebook has created places for some of these bad apples to *voice* their opinion much to the chagrin of many of us who grew up on being polite and treating people as you yourself would like to be treated.

honestly, i've never seen this film before (i don't think anyway?) but i may buy it just to support single releases, because i prefer them to double releases.

Have Scream ever put the Vincent Price set for sale? I'm hoping to see that drop a few dollars in the upcoming weeks.

I thought it was just for Army Of Darkness, but now I see Demon Knight and Bordello Of Blood are the same.

Yeah, I thought so too. Thought it was just indicative of what they were planning with the package. But I had a morbid curiosity and checked the others and sure enough....
