My issue with the previous years was that the announcements seemed more suitable for surprise announcements rather than the comic-con crowd. I'm quite surprised to be honest that Army of Darkness, and the 2 tales from the Crypt films weren't saved for "the Show". These are all more notable and pop culture relevant than most of the average slashers a lot of folks expect. I'll be happy with 3 mainstream relevant announcements and the rest more B or C grade stuff. Quality over quantity. I'm loving we get 10 announcements, but I'd like to believe that at least a handful will be more mainstream affairs that haven't had a release in the US yet.

So they're announcing these after the panel now or was the panel extended?

For a lot of people special features are important. Especially for older movies, which can have some real reflective and honest looks back at the making and reception of a film. There are many genre classics that have never had special features at all really, or very minor ones. I think a healthy mix of new-to-BD titles and special editions of very popular titles is the way to go, which seems to be Scream's thoughts as well.

They waited until almost the end of the panel to make the announcements last year, so I'm expecting the same this year.

I couldn't remember what they did last year but assumed the announcements would be spread throughout the panel based on the panel description.

Really want Nightmares... for whatever reason I've never seen The Car or Ghost Story and have always been intrigued by them. Haven' t seen Lady in White since it came out and my memory is pretty vague on it. I'm hoping Matinee gets tossed in the 10.

I was extremely pleased with the announcements coming into comic con (Army of Darkness and the 2 Tales From the Crypt movies), so the only title I am hoping they announce at the panel is Village of the Damned and I will be happy.
