Guaranteed Buys:
3. TROLL (1986) – Which will be paired with Troll 2 as a double feature.
9. GARBAGE PAIL KIDS: THE MOVIE (Collector’s Edition) (1987)

Possible Purchases Once I hear extras and see reviews (IE. not gonna pre-order)
10. THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD (Collector’s Edition) (1985)
7. NIGHTMARES (1983)

Maybe one day when the price drops low enough:
8. DEATH BECOMES HER(1992)
5. THE GUARDIAN (1990)
4. GHOST STORY
2. BLOOD AND LACE (1971)

Not happening anytime soon:
1. WOMEN’S PRISON MASSACRE (1983)
6. THE CAR (1977)

And this is why Scream Factory should stop doing Comic Con announcements. The venue gives the illusion that they're going to announce Huge titles... people get their hopes up... and almost everyone comes away disappointed. How they could possibly have thought any of these titles were bigger than the Tales from the Crypt Films and Army of Darkness is mind boggling. These are all fine announcements during any other given week. But if you're going to make yourself the center of attention and have some sort of spectacle, then you better deliver, and year after year Scream Factory has failed to do so at Comic-Con. Hell I'd argue Arrow one up'd them earlier this week with their Hellraiser Trilogy Box set.

On another note... Woman in Prison movies huh? Here's hoping we have an announcement for Chained Heat at this time next year.

I'm actually pretty psyched we're getting Garbage Pail Kids. It can join The Room, Birdemic, Troll 2, etc. in my "bad movie night" get-togethers

Sigh, if Universal agreed to license the Jaws sequels, they might have been announced tonight

Solid assortment of films. Nothing jaw dropping, but still some solid horror entries.

So many people are against importing or region-locked I don't think it's a bad idea for Scream to release this. The question is which version will end up being the best for those of us who are multi-region capable. I have a feeling it will be the existing UK release, but you never know.

Why don't those people have the previous U.S. release? Why not do a release with 2 and 3? That would've killed

The only one I'm pleased with is 'Death Becomes Her'. I don't know why, but I was expecting a much more exciting line-up than this...

I realize that. Like I said, I've already got two Blu-Rays of the film, so it'll take a REALLY nice package by SF to get me to buy the movie AGAIN.

It's similar with The Car. I never got Arrow's release, so I'll wait and see which package is the better deal before I make a purchase.

2 and 3 are Warner Bros. and Lionsgate, respectively. They wouldn't have been able to get them.

I actually do have it, got it before I went region-free, but it needs a better release either way because of the music issues and lack of video features. The UK edition has a feature-length documentary and the original music. Hopefully the Scream release will have similar specs for region-locked fans.

Damn, oh well. Garbage Pail Kids and Troll double feature for me (glad I didn't order Troll 2 this past week like I was), have a healthy amount of new titles to research

The only one I can for sure say I will be getting is Death Becomes Her. I can't believe GPK is getting a Collectors Edition and DBH is not. WTF? Anyway other than that I'm interested in Nightmares and possibly Ghost Story, The Car, and Living Dead keeping in mind I haven't seen the last three yet. I really wonder now if maybe Army of Darkness and the Tales movies really were actually planned for CC. Overall I can't honestly say they are that bad though. Really wish they would get Psycho 4 dammit.

If I didn't already own RotLD, I'd be in. However, my first viewing was when I blind bough MGM's blu-ray a few years ago, which works well enough for me. There's enough movies I want to get on blu-ray without double dipping at premium prices.

I think it's awesome how many titles SF has been putting out, but I'd be much happier if they put out more quality titles than quantity.

100% no they were not. Scream Factory took the time to create Comic-Con exclusive Buttons with these titles and others featured on them. There's no way they would have been able to keep those buttons hidden until this late. (Obviously, as the announcements leaked early regardless). There's no way that they were planned for tonight once the decision was made to use them as promotional items for Comic Con.
