I wish they'd speed it up a bit. At this rate I'll be long dead by the time they even get out 0.001% of their catalogue.
Actually there is a rumor of them doing a blu ray for Lets Scare Jessica To Death, if that happens , that could increase the chances of more from the Paramount library. Warner has said they have no plans at the moment for some of the Paramount titles. I think we'll all be long dead by the time they get to everything, or bluray will be obsolete .. it will be like 100K crystal clear super uber HD

What about a Bluray of Paramount's 'Orca' (1977)? Any chance?

I hadn't heard that one before. What's the source of the rumor?

WB better get moving before I'm dead.

All rumors come from the internet ..Somebody heard something somewhere .. hopefully it didnt come from the same person who announced the titles in the WB Horror set one year too soon ! He got into some deep doo-doo

Olive confirmed that they have Breeders today ...

Im hoping Scream will announce a new title or two soon, I know we had the big 10 a few weeks ago but Im sure theyve got more in store for our wallets.

I hope so cause that "big 10" wasn't all that great.

It wasn't so much that the "Big 10" wasn't so great, but that most of those announcements aren't even coming out this year. There are more titles in this year's lineup that I want compared to last year's announcements but it's still not a great list IMO. I certainly hope there's still more to be announced for the rest of this year, otherwise it'll turn out to be the lightest year for Shout titles added to my collection.

when THE GARBAGE PAIL KIDS is the "collector's edition" then there's something wrong....

I think they made a poor marketing decision. If they had held off announcing the 2 TALES FROM THE CRYPT films and then included them as part of the "big 10" a lot of people would have been more excited.

They could have announced Garbage Pail Kids and that woman in prison flick separately...

But we are getting Blood and Lace, The Guardian, The Car, Death Becomes Her

It is possible that other labels have gotten what Shout was trying to license for one thing. Im not interested in the Garbage Pail Kids either but kudos for those who do.

The could have just announced THE CAR and NIGHTMARES and I would have been happy so the other 8 titles are just icing on the cake

Someone did make a good point around the time of that announcement that CEs are usually for films they have access to a s*** ton of extras and interviews to throw in.

This is one of those things that has me mixed on SF. On one hand I wish they believed in quality over quantity but on the other hand they release movies like Garbage Pail Kids that probably would have never been released if not for them. I sure as hell am not buying it but for some fans out there it's a nice treat I guess.

I still think the timing of Comic-Con poses a bit of a marketing dilemma for them.

I think this has actually been a problem for them since they started doing SDCC, where some of the titles they've announced leading up to SDCC have been splashier than the titles they announce at SDCC.

clearly that's part of my problem with the titles as I find both of those flicks to be thoroughly mediocre... (to each his own of course)

GHOST STORY and THE GUARDIAN were the only titles I was excited to see... and I was really hoping for a CE of Ghost Story....

Just got my copy of Ghost Town, which was a blind buy. Is this a horror-comedy? The pic of the grinning ghoul on the back cover lead me to ask.

Different people really do want different things from Scream. Some people want really niche titles to finally get the BD treatment while others just want another CE for a John Carpenter movie already out on BD. Scream is kind of caught in the middle trying to please both camps.

Very true. I'm not one to complain about their films usually, my main if only complaint with them is I wish they would try to spend some more time giving some of these films better transfers. Most of the time they're not horrible but could have used a little extra effort.

This. They could've announced those films at an earlier date & save the 2 Tales from the Crypt films, Army of Darkness, Serpent & the Rainbow & Shocker among others & then the big 10 would seem like a big deal. I'm only interested in 2 of their "big 10" films.

Just got my copy of Cellar Dweller and Catacombs. Nice improvement over the terrible dvd of CD but could it have killed them to do a little dirt and scratch removal? I get that they didn't have the best elements to work with here but even just one pass to get rid of the major damage marks would've done wonders.
