If it's one BIG announcement tomorrow, it's likely to be a hugely requested title or announcing a new deal, or both. Counting out a box set.

It's Jaws 2s year this year with the recent Making Of book, Intrada expected to announce a double CD of the soundtrack next week.

We're talking about the director's cut, which has never been released and is owned by Morgan Creek, not WB. They hinted at an imminent release on Twitter last month & it would make sense for another partnership with Scream after Nightbreed.

I've come to the conclusion that Phantasm isn't happening... ever. So I'm not even going to bother speculating on that one going forward as we've all been asking for it for so long now without any sort of glimmer of hope it's coming that it just seems to me to be a pipe dream. Candyman would seem like an obvious choice, but sadly whenever an announcement regarding an announcement shows up it's never anything that obvious, so I'm ruling out Candyman as well. Tales From the Hood would be F'n amazing, but since it's so heavily desired it's not happening. Just forget about Fright Night II... if Scream had that planned for announcement I'm sure they'd have trickled out a bigger teaser than just "Another announcement tomorrow".

So that leaves us with Legion, which would be great, and seem's plausible, or something obvious that no one has requested today... Village of the Damned. A (lower tier) Carpenter announcement on Halloween Day fits with the perceived excitement from the facebook posts. Which is to say, there is little excitement in the pre-announcement, but announcing something special on Halloween is inferred. We all know this film is coming at some point and the connection between Halloween Day and the Carpenter line of films is obvious.

I'm predicting Village of the Damned Collectors Edition as the announcement.

I might say the Thing or maybe Legion, or the Resurrected.
It cant be Species, MGM already did a good blu ray for it and Cliff usually doesnt re-release unless something can be improved on and I dont mean original art or a silly slipcover

I might think Curse / Curse II , or The Fly II if a new deal at Fox has happened.
No dice with Sony as if so the VP III set might have had The Tingler. So I dont expect Candyman

Yea Fright Night & The Blob 1980s really should've been SF releases & not Twilight Time. I'd buy those & Silver Bullet day 1 for sure.

Well TT has an *in* with Sony and Shout does not. We can at least hope Warner or Paramount does Silver Bullet

If only you said "... coming to BLU-RAY" then I would be ever so happy. Unfortunately, the waiting game for so many films to go br seems to take forever, it's probably best I do get the dvd once released.

I forgot about that. I remember a petition about getting it released. It would be great if they can make it happen.

I know its a pipe dream but my top 2 horror bluray wish list is Silver Bullet and The Hitcher 1986. I also wouldn't mind having Fire in the sky and The Forsaken.
