It's nothing like that for a lot of people...could care less if they are rare or valuable...I just like the way they look on the shelf with them. It's a visual thing for me and the fact if I have some with slip covers I have to have the rest to match. I suppose I could just take them all off and throw them out but that seems dumb as well if it came with it. Collector's are quirky for different reasons and I'm sure you have your quirks too...to each his own.

If you order two of the sale titles, you get free shipping.

And the Cupids Pick changes daily, so if there's nothing else today, there could be something tomorrow.

Looking at other titles in the Universal Vault Series, something like Games (1967) could be a decent bet, given the cast and especially the involvement of Curtis Harrington:

Another two Universal's 60's titles, produced and directed by Castle, surely sounds like a safe guesses now..?

Let's Kill Uncle (1966)

The Night Walker (1964)

The Night Walker only recently got a DVD release, so I don't know if we'll see a Blu-ray upgrade so soon.

Let's Kill Uncle doesn't look to have had a DVD release at all, so that one would be quite something. One thing's for sure - it's a real shame Universal don't seem to allow double features!

Pre-1970 is probably all Universal has to offer at this point anyway. Not my preferred era but if there's something worth picking up that isn't cheesy or uber-cheap I'll grab it. I'm sure there are a fair number of straight horror/sci-fi flicks from that time period that may be worth adding to my collection.

There's a few post-1970, but the list certainly isn't that extensive, especially if you discount possible CE double-dips or titles they're unlikely to licence to Scream. We tend to go over it rather a lot, but I believe Scream have shot down (for various reasons) the following:

Jaws 2, 3 and The Revenge
The Burbs
Matinee
Brotherhood of the Wolf
Slither
Psycho IV

Now despite the denials I think it's highly probable Scream will release Psycho IV (and possibly Bates Motel) at some point; who knows about the rest, but I imagine Universal will want to put some out themselves (the same could probably be said for Serial Mom). That largely leaves these on the table. There are probably some others I've missed:

Colossus: The Forbin Project
The Boy Who Cried Werewolf
Rollercoaster
Burned at the Stake (AKA The Coming)
Raising Cain
No Escape
Tales from the Hood (it seems a problem with the materials could be holding this one back)
Virus
Session 9
Cry Wolf
Altered

Cool; I think mine did too. But to answer his question, slips aren't guaranteed.

Hope they eventually upgrade all the sci-fi B-movies they have released on SD DVD:

1. Invasion of the Bee Girls
2. Vicious Lips
3. Cyclone
4. Robot Wars
5. Crash and Burn
6. Message from Space
7. The Amazing Transparent Man
8. The Man from Planet X
9. Beyond the Time Barrier
10. The Time Travelers
11. The Angry Red Planet
12. Not of This Earth (1988)
13. The Crab Monsters
14. Not of This Earth (1958)
15. America 3000
16. The Time Guardian
17. The Terror Within
18. Dead Space
19. Up from the Depths
20. Time Walker
21. Deathsport
22. Battletruck
23. Kingdom of the Spiders

Indeed, most sci-fi/horror hybrids from the late 50's to the early 90's would be highly welcome in my book. I much prefer that to all the marginal slashers that so many people seem to be pining for...

Great news about I SAW WHAT YOU DID! The original Anchor Bay DVD has been commanding big bucks on the secondary market, and the more recent Universal MOD is said to be full frame.

LET'S KILL UNCLE never even saw a VHS release, let alone DVD. Hope that one comes someday, as well as improved releases of THE NIGHT WALKER and DARK INTRUDER (Universal is said to have superior film elements for those two in their vaults).

How about EYE OF THE CAT (1969), both theatrical and TV versions?

GAMES would be a great choice, as well.

I'd also like the made-for-TV spooker COMPANIONS IN NIGHTMARE (1968?).

To anyone who cares, yesterday i ordered Pumpkinhead, Dolls, Darkman, Shocker, Army Of Darkness and Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight directly from Shout. I'll reply on here how long it takes to receive orders and which ones come with slipcovers!

Who actually owns distribution rights on this one? An HD version is available for purchase/rental on amazon.com... Here but this is also mentioned...

Included with a Showtime add-on subscription for $8.99/month after trial
Perhaps the hold up on this title has been the connection to Showtime.

(John Carpenters Body Bags, also produced for Showtime, doesn't have any mention of Showtime on Amazon for Comparisons sake)

As of this moment, it looks like it'll be a standard Shout! Factory release, not a Scream Factory release.

Just an FYI in case you don't know. Urban Legend was already released through Sony I believe. Not 100% sure on the distributor, but I do have a copy. From what I understand, Shout doesn't get Sony movies. Although I definitely agree with your list. Add in Cry Wolf and Turistas, then we're good!

I have seen Urban Legend before on amazon, but it looks OOP. It goes for quite a bit of money. I would love to see it on SCREAM. Forgot about Turistas! Definitely another want. I'd also love Red Eye, Dead Silence, and Blair Witch from them.
