New Sweet Shock includes "Without Warning". Nice. Let's see if there is a decent "Cupid's pick" this week. Hoping for Deadly Eyes to be one of them.

Glad to see a shake up in the Sweet Shocks. My Friday order has shipped and shows up as PSI Systems with the USPS. Unfortunately, there is no traction with my Tuesday order so either Ghost Story or Evilspeak must be backordered.

CMAC, any chance of you guys picking up Brotherhood Of The Wolf (2001) from Universal?

It needs a decked out Shout!-tastic BD edition!

Another couple of Universal hopefuls: 1984's ICEMAN and the 1985 Burt Reynolds film STICK. Both of these are in dire need of a makeover.
Yes to Waterworld. Yes Yes & Yes.

That could mean the rights would be with the producers then, and they usually want an obscene amount of money :/

Wouldn't it have reverted to StudioCanal or Canal+?

I dont think Canal+ is the same as StudioCanal

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canal%2B

http://www.imdb.com/company/co0028557/?ref_=ttco_co_1

Seems like the film could be with French Producers ?

I always thought Can+ either became StudiCanal or it was an arm company for them.

But you are right dsman71.

It doesnt make it any easier to license though

Movies that wind up with the producers is worse than if some label like Lionsgate or WB; the producers tend to ask for obscene amounts for their film..and because they are priced so high, the labels tend to shy away

I'm not going to pore over this thread to see if it's been suggested, but what are the chances Scream could release a collector's edition of Spookies (1986)?

Now THAT is a title that needs some love.

Code Red has hinted at a possibility of Spookies, that's also been a title I've been wanting for awhile.

I think they fall uner the same corporate umbrella. Canal+ and StudioCanal are both subsidiaries of Canal+ Group which is, itself, a subsidiary of Vivendi.

Hey, CMAC. Any chance you fellas at Shout Factory/Scream Factory would be interested in buying the rights to Kevin Smith's new feature, Yoga Hosers. It's been described as "Clueless meets Gremlins" with Nazis and a zombie hockey player. Right up Scream's alley if you ask me.
