There's no way it's sold out. This has to do with the lack of shrink wrap as Ron Zoso pointed out I'm sure.
I received both JC1/2 yesterday and they were both not shrink wrapped, curious why JC2 is still up and has stock at Amazon.

Just received my copy of Escape From New York and it has come with a slip. Never failed to get one with any title I have bought and I have quite a few all from the same seller. The seller was Allyourmusic on Amazon.co.uk marketplace.

The Jeepers Creepers supply shortage was confirmed to be related to the shrink wrap issue:

New member here. First post! Long time dvd and blu-ray collector. Been following this forum last few days since The Thing Deluxe was released (bought one thankfully) and the Summer of Fear sale. Not sure what took me so long to find this... Anyway just wanted to let everyone know if you're interested in buying Vincent Price Collection 3;

I was able to order it WITH the exclusive poster. If you add the movie to your cart from the Summer of Fear webpage, you will NOT get the poster. However if you order from the Shout website and the Vincent Price 3 page, it will show up in your cart at the 39.99 discount price + the free poster. Even though the regular page still displays normal price, it will be the sale price in your cart. I tried it both ways and if you try to add it from the summer of fear page it will not say + exclusive poster in your cart.

Just a heads up and word of advice for anyone wanting the sale AND the poster. Thanks to all for the advice, sales, and places to buy with the slip cover!

I'm hoping Scream Factory still has a deal in place with or will strike a new deal with Fox because I would truly love to see Broken Lizard's Club Dread as a Scream Factory Collector's Edition!

While not Super Troopers good, Club Dread is still quite a funny movie.

Glad I check the site today because the supposed order of things seems to have changed.

Ordered:
Species II
Species III/Species: The Awakening
The Dungeonmaster/Eliminators
Fear City

$60.96

Fear City is one of those Shout genre titles I've always been meaning to pick up for some time now, but it's only sold through Shout's site, so I've been waiting for a free shipping deal to pick it up.

Club Dread actually works great as a legitimate slasher movie, too. Huge fan of it!

I want to get the three Species movies but I have spent a ton recently and won't really watch them until October. I wonder if I should just wait until then to see if they or amazon put them on sale.

Anyone think they will hit better prices than $17 and $14?

I would estimate probably not. At best you may be able to snag them at the same price with Free Shipping (available now during the sale if you spend $30). The titles will likely go on sale again in the fall, and these are titles that I would expect to see sell for $15.99 or so on ebay from blow it outta here and other sellers, but that could still be awhile. It's possible a better deal will come along, but I'd wager it won't be a whole lot better.

Scream stuff rarely goes on sale. You can wait for Species 2 to be $10 or whatever, but you'll be waiting a long time probably, and it's happen randomly. P.S. Don't buy Species 3 it's unwatchable.

Same here. I just didn't enjoy Super Troopers all that much.

So I don't know if this has been brought up or not, but with Hastings video stores filing for bankruptcy, finding Scream titles at a brick-and-mortar store is going to become even more rare and difficult than it was before. I wonder how this might (or might not) affect their sales? Do they really sell the majority of their titles online?

Anymore, I'd say most studios do more of their sales online. For example, it's near impossible to find the Criterion of Life During Wartime in the Boston area (on DVD or Blu). Does this mean it's OOP? No. It just means that it's more commonly available online, as that's where it's market lies.

Am I the only one who not only prefers Super Troopers over Club Dread, but also prefers Beerfest over Club Dread?

An overwhelming majority of their sales are online. With a few exemptions, the only titles of theirs that make it into the national retailers (Walmart, Best Buy, Target) are the contemporary titles.
