• The Car
• Nightmares
• Prince of Darkness
• Village of the Damned
• The Thing
• Ssssss!
• The Serpent and the Rainbow
• The People Under The Stairs
• Shocker
• Raising Cain
• Psycho II / III / IV/ Psycho (remake)
• Jaws II/ III / IV
• The Watcher
• American Werewolf in London / American Werewolf in Paris
• The Sentinel
• Island of Terror
• Andromeda Strain
• Boy Who Cried Werewolf
• The Incredible Shrinking Woman
• Rollercoaster (ACTION/ about a serial killer who targets amuesment parks)
• Burned at the Stake
• Invaders from the Deep
• Evil Under the Sun
• Firestarter / Firestarter II
• Tremors / Tremors II / III / IV
• Childs Play II/ III
• Bride of Chucky / Seed of Chucky
• Death Becomes Her
• Army of Darkness
• Demon Knight
• Darkman
• Mystery Science Theater 3000: the Movie
• Sleepaway Camp

They're all potentials, even if some have been on dvd/bd via Universal... Remember that "Halloween 2", "Halloween 3", "Day of the Dead", etc. had already been released, so we know that won't discourage Cliff
or anyone at Shout!...
Might I bring up my list of universal horror from a while back... Now that we know for sure they're making another deal...

Monster Squad, like The Final Countdown, was "owned" for a while by (darn, forget the name, "Pacific" somebody?), a weaselly semi-PD company who claimed ownership on the films for the taking, but released bare-bones public-domain up-dump DVD's that looked like they came from the dollar store.
After a long campaign (company folded?), the two titles were freed up to "real" companies, but the fate of the third PD victim, "KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park" is still unknown. If it could be gotten (music rights?), I'm sure Shout would have done something by now, but the TV-movie status isn't helping its Blu chances either.

Could you imagine if Scream or Shout got a hold of ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK and/or THE THING?

You're my new best friend!
Yeah I've posted about EFNY a couple times in this thread, in the hopes I could get Cliff to "show his hand" as to yea or nay.
Technically the film isn't horror, although it comes close in some scenes!

Cliff, IF you guys do Escape From New York...please do 3 versions:
1) Regular slipcover
2) Digibook
3) Steelbook

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but here's the Blu-ray/DVD slipcovers for Deadly Blessing.

Pre-orders become available from Import CDs roughly one month before release date. They're also usually your best bet for Kino and Olive titles.

Is there a new horror-themed holiday in February? The 19th is STACKED with horror releases.

The Nest, TerrorVision/The Video Dead, Sinister, Prison, Monster Squad, and Night of the Demons 2 all in one week!

Not to mention cheese like Oasis of the Zombies and Zombie Lake.

Shout Factory is giving us balance for having to deal with all that Valentine's Day crap. Wow, what a company. Truly leading the way in innovation.

I believe The Nest was pushed back from its original release date in January. And who needs The Monster Squad when we already got the LG blu-ray?

I'm just glad they don't lump all the horror titles during October to coincide with Halloween like the major studios do. As if we only watch horror flicks during the same four weeks out of the year.
