Very happy about Poltergeist 2 and 3 CE but at the same time very disappointed Child's Play 2 and 3 weren't announced

Might have to double dip on Rabid if it's better than Arrow's transfer (it's not great). I'm a huge Cronenberg fan. I am pleased with these announcements

If all you want is the two films together for cheap then MGM released that already. I would assume these will be packed with features to make them different and worth the money. I don't think I care about the movies enough to get them though, the MGM release is fine.

Will definitely be getting Dead Ringers, Bubba Ho-Tep and others though! Rabid will be interesting, I love the Arrow but would like a region A copy. Hell if my Shivers replacement is region-free like everyone else's then I think Scream just killed my need for a multi-region player!

Great line-up! How did they get Rabid, even though it's a Lionsgate title? Or does someone else own that in the US? Black Christmas caught my eye, and the two Poltergeist sequels. Now, to write down my Christmas list for this year...

Yeah I expected a Double Feature release..

Would be surprised if they can scrape together enough though.. no one from the first film want's to talk about it, and so the cast from Part 2 will be very tight lipped too. Maybe they have some vintage Behind the Scenes footage though.. but I don't expect much from anyone.

Well once again nothing that excites me. I guess they peaked with Nightbreed, nothing they have put out since has even come close to the excitement that announcement gave.

Glad others are happy though.

Only one Shout! Select title is slight a bummer. Was hoping for "Fletch Lives" blu-ray debut.

I just cannot imagine there is THAT much material that warrants the "Poltergeist" sequels both their own separate Collector's Editions. Honestly.

I guarantee they would ship more units of those if it was a double feature.

Just glad I waited ONE DAY before getting "Bubba Ho-Tep" on DVD was close to paying roughly $30.00 for it.

It's happened with Day of The Dead and TCM2.

But yes to Bubba Ho Tep coming from them. It's not Phantasm but still pretty great.
