Curious about their Black Christmas release. The Seasons Grieivings release from Canada is already pretty stacked, sans the original mono track.

Bubba Ho-Tep- This one interests me. I've always wanted to see it, and have heard nothing but good things.
Willard/Ben- Yes! May not be a day one buy, but definitely looking forward to these two!
Black Christmas- Very cool! Was tempted to get the new Canadian edition that came out last year, can't wait to get this!
Poltergeist II/III- Nope. Don't care.
Dreamscape- Pass.
Rabid/Dead Ringers- YES! MORE CRONENBERG!
Slumber Party Massacre II/III- Don't care in the slightest.
The House That Screamed- Very interested. Will wait and see.
Dead of Winter- Woo! Had my eye on the 88 Films import, can't wait to snag this one!

Everybody thought (myself included) that this is going to be one of the most predictable CC in terms of new announcements. It turned out quite the opposite. Well played.

Shout just beat Arrow with Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and Invasion of the Body Snatchers. If they do a new scan it is definitely possible.

I am extremely excited for Buba Ho-Tep. I'll definitely be picking up that and Black Christmas. I might pick up the poltergeist sequels too, but they aren't nearly as exciting.

Would've been damn near perfect timing too considering the director is there at Comic-Con and more popular than ever, but no, guess they don't think like that. They rather give each "Poltergeist" film it's own Collector's Edition in one of the dumbest moves they've ever done outside of declaring they will never release "Clownhouse."

I may upgrade mine if they do happen to improve upon the Arrow one.

Yeah their latest transfers have been outstanding. The Rabid release from Arrow suffers from very crushed blacks and dull colors but maybe thats just the source material. I'm hoping Scream does it right though because I thought it was pretty entertaining.

Yes it is a possibility, you are right. I forgot about some of Screams recent improvements.

The Hitcher is another film that needs a blu ray release.

I really loved these announcements. But still, no Phantasm or Child's Play sequels?

Sorry for sounding ungrateful Scream.

Silent Rage would also be a good one.

I know he was involved with their Jeepers Creepers release, but why people think any studio would go near releasing Clownhouse astonishes me.

There really is not one loser title in this batch of announcements. All are top tier.

Willard and Ben seemed like they'd NEVER be cleared for release again. Wow!!!

The House That Screamed (a great flick) - didn't Scream have to cancel a release of this a long while back that they were going to include on a DVD multi-pack, but a rights issue arose so it never happened? And now it's been cleared, too! (and I'm not confusing it with their canceled "Lizard in a Woman's Skin" multi-film release where some copies leaked through).

Dreamscape apparently had a horrendous looking Blu from Image that was also nudity censored. Surely, Scream will rectify that.

Rabid is a great surprise announcement.

The MGM ones like Dead of Winter, Bubba Ho-Tep, and Poltergeist 2,3 were expected eventually and those are cool.

Black Christmas needs an excellent Blu, and Anchor Bay flubbed that by leaving off the proper mono track. Scream will get it right.

Slumber Party 2+3 - more of the Corman films on Blu, especially these much requested ones, is great news.

What a slate!!!

Well, "Dead Ringers" deserves it. Only other one that possibly might is "Black Christmas", but like I said Anchor Bay already went all out for a Canadian-only blu-ray release, see here: https://www.amazon.ca/Black-Christma...istmas+blu+ray

I'm betting all those features on that disc show up on Scream Factory's disc.
