That's... Odd. I would suggest it's the reverse art but I've never heard of that movie referred to as Scum Prison. Bootleg?

Must be a bootleg as it has the UPC for Kino Lorber's Scum and the cover art for Scream Factory's Prison.

Can anyone tell me if the recent Return of the Living Dead BD release features the original Orion intro? The MGM BD and Second Sight UK one di not. Thanx.

Currently trying to give The Funhouse another chance. Just as I thought when I first saw it... holy hell does it take FOREVER for anything to happen. I'm an hour into it and still the cast is unscathed!

Frogs is one of the best movies in the Scream Factory catalogue, and it's one of my favorite transfers of theirs as well. I've loved this movie since childhood, and I'm glad that Scream gave it a treatment befitting of the masterpiece that it is. There's some print damage, yes, but the detail and colors look fantastic.

I've looked through some of the other above caps comparisons, and, aside from the sky background, the differences are negligible at best.

I've only seen Frogs once, but I thought it was pretty terrible.

I don't know... I think that maybe it would have worked better as a short story for some like Creepshow than a full length feature. A younger Sam Elliot is about the only thing of note that came from that film.

Can't speak for the transfer though.

Hastings has new movies for 50% off now. I grabbed The People Under the Stairs w/slip for $10, but all the other Sceam titles were already gone. Should have hid that Army of Darkness last time. lol

I've been seeing a ton of bootlegs in FYE and my local uses shop lately. Lots of people getting them on ebay and then selling them, I suppose.

That is what I figured but I'm not sure how it got into the store as they don't sell used items. Only thing I can guess is that a customer bought a "real" copy and returned the "bootleg" copy.

Slipcover question: Which Scream Factory slips are getting to be very rare i.e. if I order from Shout/Amazon would they come with slips?

Reason I'm asking if because I'm really behind on my Scream collection but want to get the ones with rarer slips first. Thanks 😊

In general the older the release the less likely you are to get a slip with it. If I remember correctly someone mentioned on here awhile back that after 90 days SF doesn't guarantee a slip.

My Fog didn't come with a slip when I ordered it during a Shout! Factory sale a few months ago. Motel Hell did but I bought that off the shelf at Bull Moose (about 2 months ago).

Yikes, I need to be more careful when shopping there. Figured that was a safe place for movies.

I contacted Scream last night because I never got a confirmation email when I ordered the limited deluxe edition of The Thing. I haven't gotten an email saying my copy has shipped either. Well, they got back to me this morning with my order number and tracking. Looks like it will arrive no later than Thursday. Great service, Scream......thanks!

Just messaged Shout myself and sure enough, they told me my copy is in process of being shipped mere seconds later.

Great customer service as usual from them.
