I'd buy at least 3 of them....

Arena
Alienator
Naked Cage (a women in prison movie from Cannon - 'nuff said)

You, me and the guy above you. LOL

But really I did vote for it, I loved it when I saw it as part of the Midnite Movie line of DVDs from Amazon and would love an upgrade.

I saw this one last year and thought it was pretty bad. It felt like a chore to get through.

I Bury the Living is a terrifically underrated film, full of wonderful atmosphere and with a terrific central performance from the always reliable Richard Boone. If anyone cannot find a fifth title to finish out their list, I'd ask (plead!) that they please help give I Bury the Living the HD treatment it so richly deserves.

I hope not! Terrific ending. I'm surprised not to see The Man from Planet X getting more love - Edgar G. Ulmer has impeccable genre credentials, having helmed the immortal Black Cat with Lugosi and Karloff, by far the most striking and perverse of all pre-Code horrors, as well as Bluebeard, the noir classic Detour, and co-directed the innovative People on Sunday. Anyway, these got my votes:

Bat People
The Vampire
The Man from Planet X
I Bury the Living
Angry Red Planet
(if only to see those batshit animal hybrids in HD!)

Invasion of the Bee Girls is one of the great genre trash classics of all time. Plus, the good PQ DVD was censored, so with any luck we can get an uncut blu-ray.

Almost all of those 90s movies sound legitimately terrible, I voted for the one with Bill Paxton on principle, but the other three votes went to the better 50s ones. :P

Yes, Arena, Alienator, and Contamination 7 are all irredeemably awful. This is our one chance to finally get some 50's titles from Shout, so let's please not blow it! Their catalog is so top-heavy with 80s/90s films (though their recent forays into the 70s have been most welcome) - it's time for a little variety! Seriously!

Those Child's Play extras and Exorcist III extras sound nice, i hope the DC delivers of Exorcist III.

I hope CP 2 CE will be coming soon with the TV cut and new 2K scan and extras galore.

Angry Red Planet
Man from Planet X
Contamination 7
The Vampire
The Screaming Skull

Frankly the older titles should really in a set like the Vincent Price films, that to me would make the best business sense

I agree. A 2-disc, 4-film 'Drive-In Spook Show' box set with suitably retro design (a mixture of images from the films plus vintage iconography of popcorn, soda, 50s muscle cars, drive-in screens, etc.), limited to 2k copies, would be the way I'd do it.

My deluxe edition of The Thing came in today and it is all beat up. The outside of the shipping package is fine, however when the cardboard was folded over about 1/2 inch of both posters were folded over as well. The regular slipcover has a crease down the entire side and the alternate one has a crease down the front. Not too happy after spending $40.92 shipped on this. Sucks because this is my favorite horror movie of all time and I was really looking forward to this release.

Scream's shipping doesn't seem to be trustworthy. I doubt I'll be buying anything from them directly.

My copy of The Thing arrived in almost perfect condition except the second poster, one edge was folded over a quarter inch. I received 7 movies today so it will be a while before I get through them all.

Hoping all the Empire films get released so I voted for:
Arena
Vicious Lips

The other 3 were for some of the 50s titles.

Well, I just bought a few of these on DVD--of course--but I voted for:

1. Angry Red Planet: A lot more fun than Journey to the Seventh Planet
2. The Man from Planet X
3. Invasion of the Bee Girls
4. The Screaming Skull : Subject of one of my favorite MST3K episodes, and the original has never seen a decent-looking transfer
5. What's the Matter With Helen?

I was tempted to vote The Bat People (since some have asked, it was also on MST3K under the alternate title It Lives by Night), but it's a persistently ugly, drab movie so I went with Bee Girls instead. Blu-ray performed miracles with ZaAt/The Blood Waters of Dr. Z, but I don't think anything could make Bat People look like anything but guano. Even Track of the Moon Beast (not on the list) would be a better choice.

Can't argue with that. The Bat People never rises above TV-movie quality and is filled with unpleasant characters. I can't believe Jerry Jameson directed it, and he directed Raise the Titanic.
