Considering Scream has mostly been MGM & Universal releases, I wonder what else out of those two studio's library they could get that hasn't already been released by Scream.

A few I can think of is:
The rest of the Chucky franchise
The rest of the Hannibal Lecter films
The Frighteners
Van Helsing
An American Werewolf in London (I've heard the new "Restored Edition" has been DNR'd and the screencaps point to that too.)
Casper (Blu-ray looks okay, but I would love a better remaster of this)
Tremors franchise
The Chronicles of Riddick franchise
The Mummy franchise (though this might be wishful thinking)
Slither
Poltergeist 2 & 3
Jurassic Park franchise (also might be wishful thinking)

They've already announced Poltergeist 2 & 3 and there's no way in hell they'll ever get Jurassic Park.

A man can dream, can't he?

I didn't know that they announced the Poltergeist sequels.

for the most part I'm not interested in buying titles I already have. It seems like a giant waste of money if a 4k release may be around the corner...

I've passed on 90% of Screams rereleases... though I'm going to bite on BLACK CHRISTMAS and CARRIE as I don't see those titles benefiting much from 4k....

the one I currently want and know I'll regret is THE THING which I don't think I can resist on (that will guarantee a 4k release in the next 6 months!)

Well, considering I don't own most of those films, including Chucky (I just sold my Collection set). I don't consider it a waist of money. Plus, Slither doesn't have a US Blu-ray yet, so I wouldn't be surprised if Scream has it planned sometime soon.

I still think Slither would be a bigger release for them. Right down their alley and no previous North American release. They'd own the market on that one vs. the re-releases they've been doing. Personally, it's very rare I double dip on a lot of releases unless the original release was truly awful.

A list of post-60s SF-related titles titles which should still be with Universal and have yet to receive a Blu-ray release in the US (there may be more):

The Night Walker (1964)
Dark Intruder (1965)
Island of Terror (1966)
Let's Kill Uncle (1966)
Games (1967)
The Projected Man (1967)
Eye of the Cat (1969)
Colossus: The Forbin Project (1970)
Killdozer (1974) (TV)
Burned at the Stake (AKA The Coming) (1981)
Bullies (1986)
Buried Alive (1990) (TV)
I'm Dangerous Tonight (1990) (TV)
When A Stranger Calls Back (1993) (TV)
Matinee (1993)
No Escape (1994)
Serial Mom (1994)
Tales from the Hood (1995)
Psycho (1998)
Virus (1999)
Terror Tract (2000)
Long Time Dead (2002)
My Little Eye (2002)
Cry Wolf (2005)
Altered (2006)
Slither (2006)
The Hitcher (2007)
Whisper (2007)

Then there's the previously-released Universal titles which SF may wish to 'upgrade' as CE's (providing they can get their hands on them):

Duel (1972)
Jaws 2 (1978)
Dracula (1979)
An American Werewolf in London (1981)
Jaws 3-D (1983)
Jaws: The Revenge (1987)
Firestarter (1984)
The 'Burbs (1989)
Child's Play 2 (1990)
Tremors (1990)
Cape Fear (1991)
Child's Play 3 (1991)
The Frighteners (1996)
Bride of Chucky (1998)
End of Days (1999)
Red Dragon (2002)
Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Seed of Chucky (2004)
Land of the Dead (2005)
Dead Silence (2007)
Drag Me to Hell (2009)

Then there's a bunch of previously-released MGM titles SF may wish to upgrade (again, if they can acquire them):

Last House on the Left (1972)
Teen Wolf (1985)
Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988)
Misery (1990)
Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Species (1995)
Hannibal (2001)

And post-1970 titles MGM put out on DVD, which they still hold the rights to, and which should still be with MGM:

What's the Matter with Helen? (1971) (with Scream)
Daughters of Satan (1972)
The Bat People (1974) (with Scream)
J.D.'s Revenge (1976)
The Attic (1980)
Windows (1980)
The Falling (AKA Alien Predator) (1985)
The Caller (1987)
After Midnight (1989)
Arena (1989) (with Scream)
Clownhouse (1989) (I know)
The Immortalizer (1989)
Night Visitor (1989)
The Ambulance (1990)
Buried Alive (1990)
Mom (1991) MOD
Panga (1991) MOD
Dance Macabre (1992) MOD

Beyond this, there's also a sizeable amount of titles MGM have never released on DVD, but there's question marks over how many are actually still with MGM, and almost all would require new HD masters for sure. They could include the likes of:

Stone Cold Dead (1979)
Demented (1980)
Home Sweet Home (1981)
Blood Link (1982)
The Alchemist (1983)
3:15 (1986)
In the Shadow of Kilimanjaro (1986)
The Supernaturals (1986)
The Tomb (1986)
Transmutations (Underworld) (1986)
Enemy Territory (1987)
Open House (1987)
Rolling Vengeance (1987)
The Cellar (1989)
Steel and Lace (1990)
Blood Games (1991)

In sum, there should still be a good deal left in the Universal and MGM catalogues if Scream wish to mine deep enough.

I'd really like to see Cry Wolf released. Mentioned this one a few times. You mentioned The Hitcher (2007), that one had a blu-ray release (I know because I own it, haha).

Not certain, but I think that might have been a Canada-only release.

They responded to a visitor post on Facebook a couple days ago that the sale starts on Monday. They skipped the coasters this year with the summer of fear sale. But I'm hoping they will do the CE cover magnets again for the October sale.

I don't see how SF can do Seed of Chucky CE since the Universal release already has a ton of extras. And if Seed should be on the list, then Curse of Chucky should be as well.

I've got my fingers crossed for SF to release Frankenstein: The True Story on BD. Colossus: The Forbin Project would be nice too. Heck, release everything that has a colon in the title.

I would buy all of these.

My biggest wants from SF aside from these (bolded are most wanted):

Hell Night
April Fool's Day
Happy Birthday To Me
My Bloody Valentine
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Urban Legend
Urban Legend: The Final Cut
I Know What You Did Last Summer
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer
The Faculty
Dracula 2000
House on Haunted Hill
Valentine

Assault on Precinct 13 (Remake) [I know this is unlikely but it came to mind]
House of Wax
Wrong Turn
Touristas

As well as stand-alone releases of Friday the 13th 1-8/Halloweens 4-8/Nightmare 1-3 which I already own but I'm a sucker. I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting.

That's quite a list! All of these would be perfect candidates for Blu-ray release. Only question is, why hasn't Scream Factory licensed any of these yet? Quite a few are well-known cult classics, while others are bona-fide A-list. I hope they're not done mining the MGM vaults just yet.

Partly budgetary and partly because movies like Carrie and The Thing were higher priorities I would imagine. There are plenty of factors but those are two I would say are the bigger ones. Maybe some of them have poor elements, maybe others werent on the list MGM or Universal offers...
That being said, it wouldnt surprise me to see Shout license some of those titles on the list (id love to have Virus from Shout personally speaking)
