THE HOUSE THAT SCREAMED is now listed by Scream with a running time of 94 min./104 min., fueling speculation that the full cut will be included on the disc. Both the US and Spanish release versions are slightly shorter than a longer international cut.

I can see there being a demand for it seeing as it's taken on a sort of cult status in recent years.
I'd love Event Horizon also.

I'm behind this as well. I check on it and an extended Jacob's Ladder often.

I'm surprised we haven't seen one for Jacob's Ladder. I was under the impression the additional footage is out there and in decent quality, but I could be wrong. Gimme this, please please please.

Maybe it will make the movie good. I liked the movie a lot but it starts slipping half way through and the 1/4 of it just sucks terribly and capped off with a shitty ending. Maybe that's why I don't care for it, it had such potential and started solid but went downhill.

You're probably better off taking it to the Shout Select thread. Or better yet, second my very same request to them on their FB page.

Once again, people are clamoring for a superfluous re-release of a film that already has a splendid Blu-ray release available at bargain pricing (Event Horizon.)

Get real.

The current Blu is nice, but the lost Director's Cut would be a treat to see.

Not the fault of Paramount either, the footage wasn't available when the first release dropped.

Splendid? Hardly. If Paramount ever get their $#i+ together and fix that squeezed image on that master of theirs, if and when they decide to reissue it, then we may reassess its "splendidness".

That said, Scream is unlikely to pick up any Paramount titles anytime soon so this is a wasted effort discussing it.

Isn't Event Horizon Warner Bros? That's who released the current version I believe. In other words, not a possibility?

No, it's with Paramount. Warner only has a distribution deal with Paramount.

Wow the Event Horizon deleted footage has been found on VHS!? Any more information on this?

I was at a convention a few years ago in London where Bob Keen (the special effects guy) was doing a talk. If I remember correctly, I'm sure he thought all the additional footage had been destroyed. He did say the footage was truly sickening and too life like and that's why it had been destroyed. Made me want to see it even more than I did before haha.

I picked up Fender Bender from Best Buy today, because my gut feeling tells me that it will be a fun throwback to glorious old drive-in flicks.

I specifically went to Best Buy to pick up David Bowie's new compilation, Legacy, since I collect Bowie music, but I swung by the Blu-ray racks on the way to the checkout lane. (I need to stop doing that!)

I too was at Best Buy today and I too took a gander at Fender Bender though ended up putting it back due to my many other holiday shopping obligations. As far as David Bowie is concerned I did pick up the new 4k remaster of Labyrinth (in digibook) for 9.99.

Fender Bender was a great movie IMO. I enjoyed it alot. it has a cool special feature where you can watch it in VHS quality lol. It was a throw back for sure.

Fender Bender had a lot of potential but the ending is not the climax it intends to be. They spend far too much time giving the lead character a backstory and it drags out with very little payoff. It feels like the "slashing" lasts about 5 minutes (and really, it does).

I love the concept and the look of the killer though.

Return of the living dead 3 is a vestron release but to answer your question if they haven't shipped it out yet then they probably don't have stock yet. While it does seem that they ship early it's not guaranteed.

Diabolik does good work and you will likely have the release before those of us that ordered elsewhere. I'll go so far as to say that you'll likely have it in hand by this time next week.
