Warner just released that one via their MOD series. It's great when studios like Warner do lose the rights to titles - leaving them open for Shout to do business with whomever the rights reverted too.

What a great day for announcements from all the labels that did today !

Films like A Nightmare on Elm Street (and all of it's sequels / offshoots), The Hidden, Alone in the Dark, Critters, etc. were produced or co-produced by New Line, so there's a strong likelihood that Warner / New Line holds perpetual distribution rights to those films.
Yes that's correct, if they were produced or bought by Warner or New Line, they will own them forever depending on the original deal. This goes for more than just the horror titles as well - their classic dramas, Noirs, etc Warner owns them in perpetuity. Warner was not interested in renewing The Lawnmower Man after the rights expired and that's really all there is to it. Even the titles they licensed to Criterion, WB still owns them.

Great news about Slither (never seen Lawnmower Man). I saw it at the theater and enjoyed it on DVD also. The DVD is loadd with features and I hope they ported over.

I lucked out earlier this week, and found the region-free Canadian Blu-ray of Rogue (2007) at a used Blu-ray store down the street.

I had been praying for a Scream Factory release of this movie, and of Black Water (2007), but the Alliance disc looks to be a win.

I'm hoping Shout/Scream continues with the love they've been giving Brian De Palma lately with a special edition of The Fury comparable to the Arrow release. I would think ( and hope) the Twilight Time licensing has expired by now.

Just import the region free Australian release. It has the extras and is cheap.

Anyone know if the upcoming Beauty and the Beast BluRay has any extras on it? The French special edition had some nice extras on it, would be a shame if none of them got ported over.

No blu-ray, just a DVD-R through Warner Archive.

This title somehow doesn't have its own thread.

I have my problems with the last act of this movie, but the $12 Amazon is offering the pre-order for right now is right about where I would fully endorse a blind buy. This is an immaculately designed, lit and composed film with color and detail that really pops on a decent set up.

Do consider it adding it to your collection.

why not open a thread for the movie instead of bringing it into a totally irrelevant thread? this is why threads exist.
