Because its with Warner Brothers, part of a few HBO titles with Warner (including The Hitcher) and they dont sublicense

FYI: Target has the Scream Factory edition of Mad Max on sale right now for 7.99. I stumbled across several copies in store today while I was there. I'd held off this long because it's never been high on my priority list, but at that price I couldn't resist.

Also, book mark this page for the next time Scream Factory talks about their best sellers and we have that conversation so we can all say "Yeah, no shit Mad Max is a best seller, it's been available in stores for less than $10."

i just picked it up - i have the trilogy set, but i really really like the reverse art.

Since then we already announced several from that list and now we can confirm that we have even more planned for Summer of 2017 as well:

Hell, yes.I haven't owned The Changeling since the badly done Vestron laserdisc back in the early '80's; get on it Warners! Spare us yet another iteration of Harry Potter, Ocean's trilogy, The Notebook, etc. and put some energy into this!

***NEW TITLE ANNOUNCE***

The controversial (for its time) NYC-based stalker thriller WINDOWS is planned for a Blu-ray release for the first time this Summer!

The film has an interesting backstory: Released bu United Artists, it was the first theatrical release of the 80s. It stars Talia Shire (Rocky) and Elizabeth Ashley (Coma), scored by Oscar-Winner Ennio Morricone and was directed by Gordon Willis (Cinematographer of The Godfather amongst other fine credits). It was also embroiled in some public uproar due to its subject matter, joining other such NYC-based early 80s films such as Cruising, Dressed to Kill, The Fan and Maniac.

More details (street date, extras--if anyone is willing to discuss this film publicly) will be revealed at a later date.

A few weeks back Mister Lime mentioned that Attack of the Puppet People, Doctor Blood's Coffin, Daughters of Satan, Windows, The Falling and After Midnight were with 'other labels'. Along with Windows, I wouldn't be surprised if Daughters of Satan, The Falling and especially After Midnight were with Scream.


Windows aside, I'm guessing Scream announced those remaining poll titles today as most will be coming next month (maybe we'll get another bumper month, 7 titles-ish). Expands the list of known unscheduled titles:

The Angry Red Planet
The Four Skulls of Jonathan Drake
The Bat People
Windows
Vicious Lips
Alienator
The Evictors
Island of Terror
Lawnmower Man (CE)
