Same here. Bulky box sets on top to free up space. My shelving unit allows me to stand 2 cases on top of each other with spines facing out. I have already surpassed those, and am stacking releases on the back cover in front, and have been covering the front row with those releases.

In the end, I am a big fan of compact releases from Scream and other labels. Otherwise, it means that I will need to start tossing movies in bins to squirrel away until they are needed.

I know it's an MGM movie. But, I know Warner Bros. released the movie on DVD in 2004. So, I have no idea who those rights reside with nowadays.

It would probably sell ok. I know it's considered the Halloween clone of all clones on the 2nd tier wave, but, I can't help it. I still like the damn movie.

Just taking a shot.

Thanks guys.
Tom is barely in it.

The Kino thread is abuzz that The Silence of the Lambs might be with Scream or, more likely, Criterion. If this is the case, I wouldn't rule out the original Terminator or RoboCop coming from Scream in the near future.

i'd definitely be down for Terminator. what could they add to the already awesome $10 RoboCop disc other than a slipcover?

I'm not sure what they could add to RoboCop other than the original theatrical art. There are a few TV spots out there that didn't make it to the previous releases.

MisterLime also suggested Misery might have been acquired by another label (he didn't state this with absolutely certainty, just to be clear). If so, you'd have to think Scream.

I didn't before but with MGM licencing out Silence of the Lambs, Magnificent Seven and TGTBATU I don't see why they wouldn't be open to offers on Robocop at least.

I'd love for Silence and Robocop to go back to Criterion. I would upgrade my old OOP DVDs of those happily. Spinal Tap too.

Because of StingingVelvet's kindness I am now missing only 4 of the Collector's Edition series with slipcover. If anyone knows where I can find them, please let me know

Body Bags (Collector’s Edition)
Night of the Demons (Collector’s Edition)
Prince of Darkness (Collector’s Edition)
They Live (Collector’s Edition)

Just saw the review for I'm Not A Serial Killer.

Seems like an interesting movie, but I'm surprised at the score of 4.0 for what seems to me a beggarly collection of extras.

It's a really fantastic movie that went completely under the radar of most folk, one of the best surprises of 2016 for me.

I'd love to see a remastering of the early OOP Criterions on BD...

John Woo's The Killer & Hard Boiled, Alex Cox's Sid & Nancy, Flesh for Frankenstein and Blood for Dracula, How to Get Ahead in Advertising, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Harder They Come, etc. etc.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the MGM ones back with Criterion, especially with the recent leak that Straw Dogs is coming back to the Collection.

All of the June Scream Factory releases are up for pre-order on Amazon. And the Shout Select titles as well.

People still asking for a label to do Robocop when the MGM BD is already a 4k remaster with lots of extras. Baffling.

It's not a proper release until it comes with a slip with a floating heads artwork on it.

I would love to see a Collector's Edition of the first Robocop. I know that the MGM one is sufficient, but logic is not the point here. My OCD would love to see all three next to each other...
