I'll definitely take Blue Steel! An awesome thriller. FYI there's currently a region free German Concorde release with one of the best blu ray transfers I've seen. If Scream does release this it's going to be tough to beat that transfer honestly. Hopefully it can be beat or atleast equaled with some great extras

I saw BLUE STEEL in theaters last year and had a great time watching it.

I'm actually shocked that it hasn't been put out yet.

Oh man that's awesome! I love it's cinematography.

Yeah it's one of the most criminally underrated films ever made. The late great Ron Silver plays one of the most disturbingly deranged psychos in film history in that film

I think they're all inevitable, along with The Burbs.

I wish they'd give us Young Guns, YG II and Clay Pigeons instead of dicking around with stuff like Teen Wolf Too.

Hannibal seems like a waste of time, the original DVD (and region-free UK blu) is stocked with features and that blu looks lovely. Would take a LOT for me to re-buy it. Silence is a no brainer though.

Yes to all three of these! Vince Vaughn and Joaquin Phoenix were both awesome in Clay Pigeons.

I literally just ordered the Hannibal UK disc today, so it will probably be that one.

Clay Pigeons would probably be my most wanted on blu-ray right now. I love that one.

Clay Pigeons is an underrated gem I'd love to own on blu-ray. Same goes for Very Bad Things.

No, because the UK disc is great, but if you mean the movie then yes. I like it a lot. It's one of the many sequels out there that are judged by their predecessors rather than their own merits. It's a great little creepy cop and killer story IMO, and Ridley knows how to direct a movie. Great score too I think.

The ending is lame though.

I think the curiosity factor alone would be enough to generate a fair amount of Buzz and sales. I could see MGM asking to have their name removed from the credits if they cared enough, but this film would fit somewhere between modern horrors from the IFC deal like The Human Centipede, and the older classics most of us get excited over. I know I would certainly pick it up and would be curious to see what, if any, sort of special features could be included. If nothing else I'd love to read/watch an interview with someone from MGM or "behind the scenes" on why the film never saw any sort of official release.

Not a film I ever expect to see as I expect it will remain buried ala "Clownhouse" but it is an interesting thought none the less.
I've been waiting for years for someone to put this out.

It's not some long lost masterpiece - there are too many problems with it for that to be true, not least the amateur hour quality of some of the performances. And yet it manages to pull off a few scenes that are extremely hard to forget - the torture tapes and that interview with the survivor comes to mind.

Why would Scream release these? I am missing something.

Since they released a bunch of the Gamera movies, would Shout/Scream be able to acquire Gappa The Triphibian Monster (aka Monster From A Prehistoric Planet)?
