It will be exclusively at their site. http://www.shoutfactory.com

Who knows when it will start. Maybe tomorrow. It would be nice if they gave a little advance notice so we can get our $$$$ together. If the sale is good, some people will be dropping hundreds.

What's funny about They Live is that I never cared for it as a diehard Carpenter fan, yet Rowdy Roddy Piper (RIP) was my absolute favorite wrestler of all time...

You never saw The Fog?

Why would you think it would come "beat to hell"?

Indeed, I paid $17 and change via Amazon for The Fog yesterday...

Admittedly, I liked the remake too, and own it on DVD (and how SMOKIN' smokin' hot does Maggie Grace look in it!?!) -- but when compared, it doesn't really hold a candle to Carpenter's original chilling ghost yarn. Most shocking between the two is the lack of the utterly brilliant ending of the original, when
[Show spoiler] Blake returns to the church with his glowing red eyes to take care of Father Malone as the "last conspirator."
In the remake, Rupert and company went for a cop-out of an ending, IMO, making Maggie Grace's character
[Show spoiler] a reincarnation of one of the girls on the ghost ship that sank.

Took me multiple viewings of the remake to figure out what the hell the ending was all about.

Oh, and Selma Blair doesn't look to shabby in the remake, either, especially when she's in her high-cut panties and sleep shirt...

Has anyone heard anything about the Escape From New York remake that was supposed to come out? Is this still being considered? I know they were thinking of Gerard Butler for the Plissken lead...

Have they said this sale will happen? I haven't seen any news about it but then again I have not followed it that much.

Hmm..so I guess their recently released stuff will be included in the sale too. Glad I held out.

These are pretty much all the titles left that I want to get (not counting their pre-orders)...

The remake of The Fog was the worst movie I have ever seen. I threw out the DVD because it was so bad.

Oh boy... I am *only* 18 titles away from the complete Scream Factory collection. This might be my best chance to catch up. I really don't have $300 to spend though

The complete line of releases?

Now all they need is to price them right, and the warehouse is going to be very busy.

Yep. $15 for the more recent stuff like Serial Mom and Tales From The Hood, and $8 - $10 for their older stuff would be nice.

Curious about this too. I didn't see where it said "excluding pre-orders", so there's hope.

I don't see either of those price points happening. I predict $14.99 - $17.99 for Collectors editions based on age and how well they've sold already, $5 - $9.99 for older IFC titles, and $9.99 - $15.99 for non-collectors editions. Free shipping kicks in with the purchase of 2 or more items, or after spending $35.

I could easily drop a couple hundred if the sale is as good as they are hyping it to be.

If sale prices are decent I'll stock up on a few titles I missed the boat on, like People Under the Stairs, Assault On Precinct 13 and The Funhouse. I own foreign versions of all 3 but I'd like the Scream Factory editions (mainly for the slips). Oh, and The Car.

Those titles have been available for some time now, I seriously doubt those titles would still come with slips.
