I don't have a surround system just my TV speakers so that will probably be more of a question for someone with a surround system but the track is very clean and powerful. I watched it at my brother's house last year on his surround system and from what I remember I was very pleased. It's a little front heavy but there was good surround from around me as well.

Thanks a lot for this; indeed, the "Special Edition" DVD reissued by MGM some time back was very front-heavy, sounding almost like a mono mix, to be honest, regardless of the moniker which told of a "Digitally Enhanced 5.1" surround track...

They Live is a movie I remember watching when I was a kid, and I haven't seen it since. But I remember awesome things. Since I don't own it yet I went ahead and placed a preorder for the steelbook. 16.20 is a price I can't pass up. I just hope it doesn't come all beat to hell. I'll probably get The Fog too, I've never seen it.

Just some friendly advice on The Fog. For me, it was one of Carpenter's biggest disappointments the first couple times I watched it years ago but there were things I loved about it. Third time really is a charm because now I'm addicted to it and it's one of my top 5 favorite Carpenter films. Just wanted to let you know that it you end up being underwhelmed your first viewing give it a couple more viewings. It is probably the most drastic difference of opinion I've ever had for a film.

I'm not one quick to give a remake/reboot shit, I usually enjoy them very much. But I have seen The Fog remake. That was shit, imo.

I know Im not alone in this but I really hope Screams upcoming sale is as good as they are making it seem. I have about ten titles Ive had on my wishlist for sometime that I will gladly pick up. So all my fingers are crossed.

I'm hoping to pick it up tonight and watch it this weekend. The trailer makes it look very promising and something that I'll enjoy but we'll see.
