Some Scream Double Features that I own, listed roughly in order of preference...

Food of the Gods/Frogs
Empire of the Ants/Jaws of Satan
The Outing/The Godsend
Bad Dreams/Visiting Hours
Deathstalker/Deathstalker II
(sadly sold out)
Tales from the Crypt/Vault of Horror
Love at First Bite/Once Bitten
Tentacles/Reptilicus
Blacula/Scream Blacula Scream
Slumber Party Massacre II/Slumber Party Massacre III
Murders in the Rue Morgue/The Dunwich Horror
The Curse/The Curse II
X-Ray/Schizoid
The Night of the Sorcerers/The Loreley's Grasp
(pre-ordered)

Some Scream double features that I'm eyeing with a healthy curiosity before the sale ends this week...

Terrorvision/The Video Dead
Cellar Dwellar/Catacombs
The Beast of Hollow Mountain/The Neanderthal Man
Metamorphosis / Beyond Darkness
The Dungeonmaster/Eliminators
The House Where Evil Dwells/Ghost Warrior
Millennium/R.O.T.O.R.
Destroyer/Edge of Sanity

I ought not to spend more money during this sale, but some of these look like a lot of fun.

Alright folks, I'm just about to finally join the party and make my first order but need some help. Here's what I have in my cart, but I need/want (not really) to eliminate 2 titles. Titles with a * are high enough on the priority list that I'm not removing them. Which two should I save for another day?

Lifeforce ---------------------------------- $11.49
*Deadly Blessing ------------------------- $11.49
*Swamp Thing --------------------------- $9.97
X-Ray/Schizoid --------------------------- $9.97
The Curse/Curse II ---------------------- $13.50
Session 9 --------------------------------- $14.00
Bad Dreams/Visiting Hours ------------- $12.49
Crawlspace ------------------------------- $9.99
Ghosthouse/Witchery -------------------- $12.49
Metamorphosis/Beyond Darkness ------- $12.49

For anyone willing to take a look at my collection, my scream factory titles start on Page 16. Horror Titles start several pages before that. If there is a glaring omission from my collection that's not on the above list that you feel I should jump on first, I'm also open to suggestions. Essentially my total is just under $118 right now, and I want it under $100 total.

I'm currently leaning toward removing Metamorphosis/Beyond Darkness and Crawlspace at the moment. Thoughts?

I can't help you much, the only one I've seen on that list is Session 9. I didn't care for it.

I just noticed that there are quite a few Shout blu rays that have not been reviewed, such as Jeepers Creepers CE 1 & 2, Species 2, and Species 3/ The Awakening. Anyone know why?

That's still helpful. That's a film I've heard nothing but good things about, however I've been very wary of it due to when it was produced. It's also one of the more pricey titles. If folks don't think it's worth picking up I'll drop it.

Reviewers only have so much time in a day and if a title isn't provided free of charge it often sits un-reviewed for some time until someone purchases it on their own accord and decides to review it themselves.

I would say Metamorphosis/Beyond Darkness (unless you have to have all the La Casa movies)
X-Ray/Schizoid...I enjoyed them, but compared to the other double features you listed, not counting the Beyond Darkness one, its probably the weakest one imo.
Wildcard- Lifeforce, not because of the movie because the movie is awesome, but I've heard that the Arrow version might be better. I have both, but I just got the Arrow version so I can't say one way or the other outside of the comments I've seen others make about it. Its probably negligible so it may not matter to you.

I love supernatural horror, and this one seemed to have a lot of praise. I was hyped for it and it didn't deliver, for me.

I'd drop the two double-bills at the bottom of your list. And to muddy things further, I love Session 9! It's all atmosphere with a very simple story, but it's one of those movies that just drips dread.

Can people give me their opinions on X-Ray/Schizoid and Final Exam? I'm so confused about what to buy during this sale.

Final Exam is okay and has some good moments. The other two I haven't seen. Try seeing if youtube has any of them so you could see if you would like them though the quality is going to suck.

Another double feature worth picking up is "Vampire's Kiss"/"High Spirits". "High Spirits" isn't too great, but "Vampire's Kiss" features an absurdly unhinged Nicolas Cage. It's a great film. Cage is just incredible in it.

This was definitely in my cart at some point, but it didn't make the cut when I forced myself to thin the herd. I suppose Nic Cage can wait another day.

"High Spirits" is pretty shit to be honest, but "Vampire's Kiss" may be the best film in any of the double features. Cage's performance in it makes his performance in the "Bad Lieutenant" sequel seem subdued.

Disappointing I can't order an out of stock item now, and just wait for them to ship everything together.

The Female Prisoner Scorpion movies are pretty hard-edged as well.

I hear that Womens Prison Massacre is a pretty grim production, but we'll see...
I tried these movies as I love 70s grindhouse fare of a more normal crime variety, but man I couldn't get into them. A little too exploitative, yes, but also just kind of boring unless you really get off on the central premise.

Agreed. The only one I enjoyed was Black Mama, White Mama.
