These are in collections at this moment. All are re-releases and all of these were released within the last year or so. I think they'll be fine.

As far as rerelease announcements go, last year's lineup was much stronger than this year's.

Actually, I'm just in a really good mood and a little tipsy so I'm a bit prone to being playful. I didn't have any expectations for this announcement. It's all basically a crapshoot at this point. Obviously I would love to be like "10 titles, and I want all of them!", but none of it really matters to me in the long run. They'll be others.

It's so good. The visuals of him excelling at work are amazing. I love when the guy offers him booze and he shakes his head and holds up a carton of milk.

Agreed; but I don't think any of those movies were Comic Con announcements. Point being, Scream announces their movies on such a regular seasonal basis that hype machine is constantly running. Idk which year started the Comic Con buzz because I'm kind of new to this but maybe the epic Comic Con was the exception and not the rule. I'll still be following it of course but perhaps without a thorough knowledge of licensing deals and what companies can afford when they can afford it I may not know how they do it after all. I'll admit I do own all of those I listed.

Disregard my previous post, I thought you posted a list of last year's Comic Con rereleases. Of the titles you mentioned, only Black Christmas was announced at last year's event.

Last year was kind of cool, if I recall correctly. I think in general I'm a bit soft on the Comic-Con haul, but my tendencies could just be a different focus than the Comic-Con push.

SILENT NIGHT DEADLY NIGHT (1984) – Would re-buy if the SD inserts used on the Anchor Bay disc are here in HD.

MISERY (Collector’s Edition) (1990) – Would re-buy if significantly better than the MGM disc.

EYE OF THE CAT (1969) – Maybe!

ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE (1958) – Maybe!

I caught Attack of the Puppet People on Turner Classic Movies a few months ago. Enjoyed it and might pick it up.

I know this is silly, but I'm really bummed because in my head I was convinced we were getting a new Friday the 13th set.

It was the " logs in the fire" ( I. E. camping at Crystal Lake) that had me convinced.
