I just watched Pumpkinhead the other night and it's another film that gets even better with repeat viewings. Pretty well made and has a great atmosphere as well. My only complaint is
[Show spoiler]when everyone is attending to Henriksen's dead son you can see his eyes blinking in quite a few shots. Not sure how the director didn't notice that but oh well. Takes me out of the film but luckily I get right back into it again.

What's the deal with The Stepford Wives (70s version)? I saw an article in Entertainment Weekly about it and thought yeah I'll get that and was surprised no Blu-ray. Who has it and does Scream do deals with them? Even the remake has no Blu but thought that version sucked anyway.

Bristol-Myers/Squibb (yes, the pharmaceutical company) owns the rights to the original film. I don't expect a Blu-Ray release, any time soon.

I would be surprised if they every get released again in the U.S., unless they end selling the library outright which also includes few other Palomar titles or someone stupid overpays for them.

Ahhh that sucks...thanks for the info. That's ridiculous, why not just sell the movies to someone whos like actually in the business.

I noticed there are listings on here for Collector's Edition versions of Child's Play 2 and 3, but I see no info on a Scream Factory release elsewhere.

They don't exist; someone created a wishlist/placeholder entry.

I predict that before 2018 is over we will have Collector's Edition of Child's Play 2 and 3. And maybe a Double Feature of Bride / Seed.

Default Halloween line up?

Will we get a 10 movie line up like they did last Halloween? If so, what goodies will we get this halloween.. any ideas?

I'm thinking killer clowns from outer space may be one of them.. if not saved for summer.. or sdcc..

I'll spare everyone a full list and just throw out one wildly speculative guess for Halloween...

Candyman Collectors Edition

I'm not holding my breath, but with the news that Silent Night Deadly Night apparently uses some stuff that has came from Sony I'm hoping that perhaps the Halloween announcements could bear some Sony fruit.

When the **** will Scream Factory put CREEPSHOW out on Bluray?!? I've been bugging them for years. All they need to do is do a 4k restoration and license the Just Desserts doc that was released along with Scream Greats Vol. 1: Tom Savini! Throw in Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors (1986) and it would be a DAY ONE purchase no matter the price!!!FACT!!!

Creepshow is owned by Warner in the US, who doesn't licence to many labels aside from Criterion. I say chances of Scream putting Creepshow out are zilch.

I wouldn't put too much stock into that. I believe if you can prove you have the rights to a film than the studio holding the negatives or other materials would be required to let you access them. It's worth reading about Synapse's work on Popcorn for a similar situation, which didn't yield a deal between them and Sony:

Thanks for the advice. The Arrow comes with a Limited edition 60-page booklet, along with other extras not included in Shouts. Though it's cheaper to buy Carrie now with the $14.99 price, I think I'll wait and perhaps buy the upcoming Arrow release.
