In his "Steve Smith" voice from American Dad. That's a commentary I'd make a priority to listen to.

I would hope at least the first film gets its own standalone release. I've never seen any of the sequels but I love the original film. I think it would sell well enough on its own, then the sequels could be in their own box set.

Just do it right the first time and release a box set in the style of the 4 film "House" Collection. They can release a single edition later on down the line for folks unwilling to purchase the set.

Has anyone purchased Robocop 2, Robocop 3, or Army of Darkness from either Amazon or Best Buy and received copies with slipcovers?

Army of Darkness will be unlikely, but I can all but guarantee you'll get slips with Robocop 2 and 3 as there is no way that the demand for those films is substantial enough to warrant them burning through all first pressing copies already.

If SF gets Nightmare, I have no doubt there will be a complete boxset.

They only released the 1st Child’s Play so I’m just hoping they would only release the good Nightmare movies.

4 is good also. Nightmare is a bigger horror franchise then Child's Play & they would make a lot of money releasing a complete series box similar to their Halloween set.

Child’s Play is owned by a different studio (MGM) than the rest (Universal). Separate deals have to be done for the series. The Nightmare series is all WB.

I noticed that best buy is carrying more shout releases on blu ray than usual. Last friday I picked up collector's editions of village of the damned, hell night, and Land of the dead. I was tempted to pick uo the psycho remake, but that movie was crap.

Not only does Best Buy carry some of them, some are at their lowest prices ever.

See my post here for an updated list as of a week or two ago.

On an unrelated note, has anyone purchased Class of 1984 within the last month or two? I'm curious if anyone is still shipping this title with the slipcover or if it's long gone.

I ordered a copy from Amazon last month, and it showed up with a slipcover.
