Usually at the end of each month/start of the next. I expect they'll start announcing June's titles from the week commencing 26th February.

Of course, they might hit us with a surprise announcement at any time. Also, we might already know titles from leaks or special announcements, like SDCC, in which case it's a question of scheduling the releases and putting them up for pre-order. But right now, we don't know of anything else coming (the problematic Piranha II release aside), so every monthly schedule is a surprise at this point.

All it would take to convince me that Shout has a deal with Warner is one more Warner announcement. If these were one-shot deals then I wouldn't expect any more Warner titles to be announced. Thank goodness February is a short month so we'll find out soon enough

TV version consists a mix of cuts and alternate, re shot footage.

It's worth taking 5 minutes and watch the climax of the film as it was crafted for prime time network television audiences

That is one iconic poster.

Alone In The Dark is a strange flick. I like it, I just feel like the team of crazies assembled is perhaps a bit too likable. There's no sense of danger, because we're basically rooting for them the whole time. Great ending too.

Alone In The Dark is awesome!!!

Would love to get a blu ray version---

the ending was actually kind of frightening! The remaining part is a hoot seeing Jack Palance and Martin Landau over acting to perfection!! The entertainment value from them is worth the price of admission 5 times over!

They probably need to make a new deal with Universal. Also, if a deal with WB is real, titles that have already been released multiple times (like the CP series) might be put on the back burner for a while.

I watched 68 Kill tonight. I quite liked it. Not for anyone bothered by gore, but I thought it was a fairly amusing story with good performances by Annalynne McCord, Matthew Gray Gubler, Alisha Boe, and Sheila Vand. The transfer left a little to be desired as there was significant banding in some of the darker scenes. That really shouldn’t happen for a 95 minute movie with no extras save a trailer although it wasn’t too distracting. This one does have nice reverse art with the original poster if anyone was wondering. I much prefer that to the stock art.

I watched this a couple weeks ago and for the most part dug it. Annalynne plays the ultimate crazy chick and I loved every minute she was on screen. When she wasnt I thought it lagged a bit.

UHD is region free, I’m sure that complicates things in regards to smaller labels getting rights for titles on UHDs.

Swung by Best Buy today and ended up picking up Firestarter and Slither for $14.99 each. I had Land of the Dead in my hand but just didn't want to spend that much today. I would have liked to pick up Child's Play but there were no copies with Slipcovers so I passed on it for now (especially since I already own the original collection set and the MGM Blu/DVD release). Sadly my copy of Poltergeist III from Hamilton books this last week was cancelled and so I won't be getting that one any time soon but I'm glad to continue to grow the collection, especially when it can be done in a physical store.
