Really excited for Night of the Lepus one of my favorites and the DVD is OOP, there's a DVD-R available but I'm not a fan of those.

I'm not very big on JGTH but Jason Lives is my favorite after Friday 1 & 2.
It's with Paramount tho.

It's the other way around for me. I used to love RoTLD II when I was a kid but I rewatched it on cable a few years back and it really pales in comparison to the original film. Thought it was just plain silly most of the time.

Agreed. The Collector in me wants ROTLD2 to finish off the original trilogy, but having watched the film a few years back it ranks about as high as CHUD II in my book. I'll happily buy it of course but I wouldn't consider it a big acquisition either. I'm jaded though in that anything less than a full Nightmare boxset is going to leave me wanting...

With that said I don't need it immediately just look at what potentially could be waiting... Xtro, Alone in the Dark, Critters 1-4, ROTLD 2, The House on Haunted Hill, Feardotcom along with upgrades for Lost Boyz, Dr. Giggles, 13 Ghosts, Poltergeist, Creepshow, Twilight Zone the Movie, Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X and countless other films.

They can keep the horrible Jason sequels unless it’s in a Halloween style boxed set.

Feardotcom? First I heard that one on someone’s wishlist.

No, the original release of Ninja III is definitely out of sync by approximately 160ms.

It may have gone unnoticed by most for a couple of reasons - the stereotype that ninja movies have bad dubs, or maybe it is within the range of sync that most will not notice.

It is very obvious if you sync playback of the blu-ray to a prior release/tv recording/etc though (I confirmed against two alternate sources).

Hopefully the 4k release will not have this issue!

Yes i want that plus CEs of Critters 1 and 2 with deleted scenes even Critters 2 extended TV director's cut, trailers, TV spots, featurettes, commentaries and more.

Maybe also Beetlejuice CE or Poltergeist CE or Razorback plus Creepshow in 2K CE be cool with a documentary on Romero's life.

Cant wait for NIght of the Lepus, liked it since i was a kid when i saw it on TV.

I find it more and more fun with each revisit because of how antiquated it is in it's depiction of the internet. At the time of release I found it to be a barely passable effort but as with most films, time has made it have a unique charm that is reflective of the time it was made. I wouldnt want it to be a premium priced collectors edition, but I'd happily pick it up over many recent efforts like Drag me to Hell, Land of the Dead, and the previously mentioned double dip of Ninja III.

I'm firmly in the camp of wanting every film to have a BD release though so in reality I'd be content with a cheap Warner release ala The Cell.

Other than a new scan I don't know what else they could do with it. Jennifer Lopez isn't likely to participate in it's production and the Warner Release already features the Uncut version of the film despite being advertised as the Theatrical cut. I feel like the film is a good fit for the line but I just don't know what more could be done for it.

Yeah, I was thinking how cool it'd be to get Lopez, Vaughn and D'Onofrio in for extras, but that might be a pipe dream.

I'm absolutely excited about CURSE OF THE CAT PEOPLE.
Private Parts is such an awesome cult film that hardly ever gets talked about. I think it's one of those films that if more people who are into sleazy horror/black comedies from the 1970s actually knew about it, they would probably love it. It really deserves to be more widely known. I would definitely buy a blu-ray release.

I wouldn't particularly call it a "big" acquisition, either, but it will be a big release in terms of something that's been out of print for many years, with many fans, that's finally getting a CE Blu-ray. I would also agree that it's not the greatest film, and certainly not the greatest thing that could come from a Warner deal, but it will be nice to own and to complete the initial trilogy. Similar to Fright Night 2, it carries basically the same story and cast, with the first film being far superior overall.

Now I'm wondering if I should hold off on that UK Xtro release...

I'm sure that one will happen, since I just bought the Italian Blu-ray.
