***CYBORG Update with Final List of Extras***

Due to some very unusual circumstances we had a challenging time getting this particular release (which we announced last July and moved the street date twice). Thankfully that's all behind us and we are pleased (and relieved, truth be told) to finally announce the final list of extras today:

• NEW 4K scan from the original film elements
• NEW Audio Commentary with writer/director Albert Pyun
• NEW A Ravaged Future – The Making of CYBORG - featuring interviews with writer/director Albert Pyun, actors Vincent Klyn, Deborah Richter and Terrie Batson, director of photography Philip Alan Waters and editor Rozanne Zingale
• NEW Shoestring Fantasy - The Effects of CYBORG – featuring interviews with visual effects supervisor Gene Warren Jr., Go-Motion technician Christopher Warren and rotoscope artist Bret Mixon
• Extended interviews from Mark Hartley’s documentary ELECTRIC BOOGALOO: THE WILD, UNTOLD STORY OF CANNON FILMS with writer/director Albert Pyun and Sheldon Lettich
• Theatrical Trailer
• Still Gallery

Release date is 4/24. However, if you order from us directly, we'll ship it two weeks early plus include an 18" x 24" poster of the newly-designed artwork (while supplies last - made at limited quantities). Pre-order now @ https://www.shoutfactory.com/product...roduct_id=6520

I've updated the potential Warner Bros list with some new additions, namely 40s titles. Scream recently said they have 40s-90s titles coming (not specifically Warner ones, it should be said), so I haven't bothered with 30s titles. Again, if I've made any mistakes or left anything out, please let me know, this might prove a useful resource to some people:

Impressively done, BarnDoor. You may want to include the previously released Hammer titles The Mummy, Dracula Has Risen from the Grave, Frankenstein Must be Destroyed and Taste the Blood of Dracula as titles that could be re-released with supplements.

I could maybe see them having a crack at The Mummy (the UK release has some extras they could possibly get), but do you think the rest have a chance? I think any previously-released title Scream pick up would be released as a Collector's Edition, and while I might be wrong of course, I just don't think they'd bother with the Hammer sequels you list, especially as substantial new extras would be difficult given the age of the films.

I think the earliest film Scream have released a CE of is Black Christmas, so they usually reserve this kind of treatment for more recent titles (which makes sense, given that extras are easier to produce in these instances). I know I put The Haunting on the list, which again seems unlikely, but then it does have a higher profile than those Hammer flicks, so who knows?

It could indeed, though I'd say that was more of a Shout Select title, even if there is some crossover appeal.

Oh I just thought of this, maybe Scream and WB can work together to make the entire Tales from the Crypt series on Blu-ray.

The Hitcher 1986 needs a Collector's Edition with a new HD transfer or 2K or 4K restoration and a buttload of extras, fans would buy this right away.

Maybe for DVD have Freddy's Nightmares as well.

I saw no reason to upgrade personally but if I were to upgrade this would not bother me as I dislike the unrated version. I thought the theatrical cut was the superior cut.

I'd love to see a Warner tv deal and release BrimStone (1998).... Get some limited or short horror series out there!

Brimstone was an awesome little show. A shame it got cancelled so quick.

I'm surprised Scream hasn't dipped into horror TV shows yet.

A couple years back Shout Factory had inquired about licensing the series, It's still a top want on TVShowsondvd.com. I was a mod on the WB boards back when it aired and run a fan page on fb, where I've been uploading old articles and early chats...

Overall, there are quite a few series that would make a splash on video.

They did release season 1 of Slasher. But yeah, besides that, I'm surprised they haven't tried to release more shows. I'd absolutely kill for them to put Syfy's Channel Zero on Blu-ray.

Given their Universal deal, I think Kolchak (especially in light of the upcoming Kino releases of the preceding TV films) or Darkroom (no US DVD release) would be solid initial forays into the TV market for Scream.

I'd never heard of Slasher or Hemlock Grove before, so I had no idea they've already released some horror television.
