Yeah, this new development makes me wonder if The Devils is still off the table.

Well they've revealed 4 for July, I wouldn't expect more than one or two additions at best. They might even be done for the month, though I am expecting one more (for reasons unknown), possibly a CE (Return of the Living Dead II seems a decent bet).

Either way, just please let 'The Devils' end up with criterion. SF should not be allowed to touch that masterpiece.

That would be awesome even the theatrical in 2K.

I'm betting they might announce this month or next month or in June of at the comic con Creepshow Collector's Edition in 2K or 4K restoration plus interviews (there is already a documentary out in stores by Synapse), trailers, TV spots, radio spots, deleted scenes and poster and still gallery.

I think it's safe to say the Comic-Con announcements will be huge this year. At this point, there's really no way to gauge the parameters of the Warner deal; SF could very well have the Elm Street films, we just don't know. I'm going to predict that Critters and Return of the Living Dead Part II will be announced at Comic-Con.

Probably best to refrain from SDCC guess for a while, since we have another 3 months worth of announcements to go before then (and July's might not yet be finished), including September and October, during which time they'll no doubt be unleashing some real heavy hitters. SDCC will be for November, December and 2019, so if say Gremlins is to be a Christmas release (makes sense) that would be an ideal candidate (might as well throw in Gremlins 2 while they're at it). It could well be their biggest announcement (in terms of sheer volume) yet, I think the most we've had is 13, so 15 or higher would be nice.

In recent years they've also used the occasion to announce some relative obscurities with shoddy home video histories (Blood and Lace, The House That Screamed, Eye of the Cat), so I wouldn't be surprised to see something like Private Parts revealed then. And of course there are other similar candidates in the Warner catalogue also.

Yup Critters 1 and 2 Collector's Editions, Return of the Living Dead II, Creepshow CE, Alligator CE, Demolition Man CE, Cobra CE, Child's Play 2 CE, Child's Play 3 CE, Tremors CE, Dr Giggles, Freddy's Nightmares DVD set, Twilight Zone the Movie CE, My Demon Lover, Cat's Eye CE and some others i'm guessing, let's hope so on those titles.

Maybe Snow White a Tale of Terror be nice.

I would love to see Scream Factory release the original Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. As far as I know, it has only been released as a MOD DVD-R from Warner Archive.

Lot of great TV films I'd like to see on Blu-ray. Kino is tackling some of them, which is a nice surprise. Satan's Triangle is another great one ready for rediscovery. I just ordered a French DVD of Satan's Triangle.

Hell, let's throw everything into the bucket - everything is game for a SF reissue! Even former Archive titles. A Nightmare On Elm Street! Exorcist II! Well, maybe not that last one

Yeah, I have a feeling that this thread is gonna start to become a Warner Archive thread clone in between announcements.

Oh I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Exorcist II get the SF CE treatment - an infamous production with many stories, very little in the way of extras on previous DVD/Blu releases, mediocre transfer on the existing Blu. It's a guilty pleasure of mine so I'd like to see it at some point.

Agreed that 4 is a good amount but so far we only have titles for July 24th & 31st and they usually release in every week of the month which still leaves 3 weeks waiting to be filled !

Wonder if we'll get some Shout Select titles for July. I was pleased to hear of the Body of Evidence release, but that's just regular Shout! Factory, and set for June.
